ERG & DEI Engagement Specialist

We’re looking for a ERG and DEI Engagement Specialist to join Snap Inc! As a key member of the IDEA Team (Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Awareness), you’ll be responsible for supporting our Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) and partnering with them to drive a more inclusive culture at Snap. Working from our Los Angeles, CA headquarters or New York office, you’ll collaborate with cross functional teams to achieve greater diversity within Snap.
What you’ll do:
Manage the day-to-day operations and serve as the main point of contact for of our individual ERG chapters globally
Optimize existing systems and design new processes to enhance how ERGs strategically contribute to Snap’s business, including product and content.
Manage communications between ERGs, the People Team and the company more broadly about ERG initiatives.
Provide support and direction to ERGs around strategic initiatives, internal events, external partnerships and budgets.
Manage the execution of internal communications efforts to inspire Snap team members, including project managing the IDEA team newsletter and the production of internal company events like the Big IDEA.
Assist with any other IDEA team logistics and administrative needs.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Ability to drive projects to completion with minimal guidance, and to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
Strong interpersonal relationship management skills
Ability to prioritize workload and balance multiple projects
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Willingness to develop new skills and expertise in new subject areas
Demonstrated ability to be flexible and adapt to the changing needs and priorities of the organization
Good business acumen and ability to utilize information to assist in creating initiatives in partnership with ERG leaders
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience
2+ years experience with contributing to or building programs in the diversity and inclusion space
Preferred Qualifications:
1+ years of experience working with ERGs
1+ years of experience related to creating internal marketing and communications materials
