Meeting your future team:

Collibra’s Corporate IT team is building a Business Innovation Office (BIO) to be a true business partner with all cross-functional departments within Collibra. The BIO team will bring core PMO best practices and governance as well as a strategic focus to ensure the enterprise achieves scalability, productivity, and growth via cloud-based, SaaS technologies. As a key member of the BIO PMO, the Finance IT Project Manager will have the opportunity to partner with key business owners at Collibra to manage high-visibility Finance-related IT projects and broker solutions that fulfill business needs and technical requirements. Being a trusted IT/business liaison, creating high-quality deliverables, and delivering solutions through a defined project lifecycle are central to this position.

IT Project Manager's at Collibra are responsible for:

  • Build collaborative relationships with Collibra Finance stakeholders along with key stakeholders from Sales, Marketing, Legal, Product, et al to deliver Finance-related IT projects that meet the business’ need for scale, ease-of-use, and value
  • Lead IT implementation, optimization, and/or integration projects from vision to release for Collibra’s SaaS/cloud-based business systems (e.g., NetSuite, Salesforce, Workday and all other related systems that touch Finance)
  • Manage IT project lifecycle from requirements definition to build/config, test, train, deploy and training phases
  • Own project scope, workplan, risk management, communications, and deliverables
  • Assist stakeholders in defining business cases, charters and budgets
  • Facilitate current and future state Finance processes to identify functional gaps, reduce risk, and improve internal controls and segregation of duties 
  • Prepare test plans and test scripts, and coordinate UAT and issue/bug tracking
  • Create documentation for end user training and support
  • Proactively capture, mitigate and escalate issues and risks in a timely manner
  • Complete project post-mortems to reconcile to projected business case ROIs
  • Partner with Procurement, InfoSec and business stakeholders in RFPs and ensure vendor quotes, contracts, SOWs are properly reviewed and scoped
  • Assist in aligning and prioritizing projects within a combined IT Project Roadmap

You Have:

  • At least 6-10 years’ work experience in IT Project Management required with a focus on ERP and Finance-related projects
  • Experience with Project Management frameworks (e.g., PMBOK) and Agile, Waterfall, SDLC methodologies for managing SaaS platform projects (e.g., NetSuite, Workday, Salesforce Sales Cloud, Salesforce CPQ, etc.)
  • Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Business Administration/related field required
  • Finance background preferred
  • Project Management (PMP) Certification preferred
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) preferred
  • Management consulting experience is a big plus

You Are:

  • Proven experience in managing multiple large-scale projects with a focus on Finance systems (NetSuite ERP)
  • Strong Finance acumen and familiar with core Finance functions, controls, and global/GAAP standards that inform Business Process Mapping and Business Problem Analysis
  • Cross-functional facilitation skills to proactively drive decisions and advocate for change
  • Unify global stakeholders and 3rd-parties and foster collaboration
  • Manage and motivate teams with empathy and persuasive skills
  • Comfortable bringing structure and clarity to ambiguous situations
  • Liaise between business and technical teams to “translate” or bridge the gap and drive mutually agreeable decisions
  • Clearly communicate project task owners and accountability
  • Business Process Mapping, Business Problem Analysis, Requirements Definition and leading Regression and User Acceptance Testing
  • Experience applying standard Project Management frameworks (e.g., PMBOK) and Software Development Lifecycle methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall etc.)
  • Comfortable in a high-growth and fast-paced environment and leading change in forward-thinking, global enterprise

Measuring Success:

  • Within your first month, you will absorb fundamental knowledge about Collibra processes/tools and start building team & cross-functional relationships 
  • Within your third month, you will operationally manage the team, take ownership of escalations, collaborate on and achieve quarterly OKRs (Objectives & Key Results).
  • Within your sixth month, you will manage the team, take ownership of employee engagement, drive  cross-functional initiatives, and assist in developing strategy around continuous improvements.
