Position Responsibilities:

  • Direct and execute RFP proposal development and submission for new business opportunities
  • Coordinate with sales and manage project plan for all incoming and outstanding RFP opportunities
  • Review RFP documents and requirements; manage allocation of internal resources to support complete response
  • Coordinate with underwriting and other business functions to submit timely and complete RFP responses
  • Manage database of RFP questions and responses
  • Collaborate with marketing and graphic design to maintain complete and current materials required to deliver competitive RFP responses
  • Collaborate with Executive Leadership and other business functions (sales, marketing, account management) to design, refine, and maintain competitive value proposition
  • Develop and scale SOPs to support RFP response development and submission

Required Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate bachelor’s degree, with record of strong academic performance in English, Journalism, Marketing or Communications
  • 2+ years of proven experience in proposal writing, project management, or benefits consulting
  • Attention to detail & commitment to delivering high quality work product
  • Extremely flexible, highly organized, and able to shift priorities easily
  • Ability to lead multiple complex projects simultaneously and balance a range of key internal and external stakeholders
  • Track record of leading cross-functional initiatives, driving high performance, meeting deadlines, and executing on deliverables
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Adobe, and other editing software
  • Knowledge of healthcare industry trends and best practices
  • Ability to write in plain language
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including technical copy editing
  • Passion for learning, including intricacies of pharmacy benefits products and services
