We are looking for a Creative Asset Development Project Manager who will be an integral team member of the marketing team. You will be responsible for overseeing all project executions across a diverse portfolio of initiatives within the Freshly brand. This role will report into our Creative Director and will work closely with Design and Copy, as well as the Marketing, Innovation, Digital Products, UX/UI, Customer Experience, and Packaging teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive both the short- and long-term planning and execution to align with key stakeholders to understand critical deliverables and prioritization.
  • Work daily with the Creative Director to vet, prioritize, assign and track creative development work.
  • Keep the team on track to deliver assets on time, in full, by understanding time-to-completion, scheduling of key team members, and gathering clear requirements for each project.
  • Manage startup and status meetings for key projects.
  • Empower the team to do its best work by removing daily blockers and helping them get answers to any questions from key stakeholders.
  • Drive team productivity by making sure workload is balanced across members, and everyone knows what priorities and deadlines are critical to deliver.
  • Ensure all projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Coordinate communication among teams and stakeholders (product, innovation, customer service, UX/UI, etc.)
  • Be an advocate for good process, process improvement, and open transparent communication.
  • Champion all company processes and initiatives, with the emphasis on leading by example.
  • Partner with key stakeholders to develop a clear Scope of Work. Align with the creative team to manage, document and deliver against subsequent changes in scope.
  • Train and mentor others to help ensure adoption and compliance of Freshly creative development best practices, especially new team members as we grow.
  • Look for areas to standardize so each stakeholder will have the same experience regardless of which project is being managed, and to increase project velocity.
  • Responsible for ensuring teamwork across their program by resolving resource conflicts.
  • Build partnership relationships across departments and create a win-win environment.

About You:

  • You have 3+ years experience in project management, preferably in media or marketing.
  • You recognize areas for improvement within the program and facilitate change by working with others across the company so that the team is highly efficient, well organized and has seamless project executions.
  • Familiar with project management software and how to use it to drive transparency around goals, deliverables and due dates (e.g., Trello, Jira)
  • You have managed projects that involve multiple stakeholders and are public-facing to large audiences.
  • You have worked with creative teams (e.g., designers, copywriters, photographers, etc) and have a strong understanding of asset development and the thinking and processed surrounded it.
  • You are organized and detail-oriented. You don't let details fall through the cracks.
  • You're able to manage multiple tracks of work at once, balancing both short-term and long-term projects simultaneously.
  • You have opinions about the best way to organize work effectively.
  • You're a listener. You can empathize with a team and with stakeholders to solve conflicts.
  • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Passionate about project management and actively pursues increased knowledge within the discipline. Specifically, learn common project management methodologies, best practices, and processes and recommend ways to apply them to Freshly
