The Role:

The Project Manager of Professional Learning will manage our professional development partner program end to end by fostering relationships with external professional learning partners (such as Kiker Learning and EdTech Teacher), building scalable processes, maintaining budget, leading enablement, and tracking all projects. You’ll help build our partner scheduling systems and customer information processes that will enable us to scale dramatically. You’ll also lead the charge in creating and maintaining comprehensive project documentation, and will help build learning and development programs for partners, including monthly product update digests and bug reporting.

Why You’ll Love This Role:

Reporting to the Senior Manager of Professional Learning, you will be a key player in scaling systems around professional learning in order to enhance a customer’s experience during their journey with Newsela’s products. You’ll be working cross-functionally from the start to create processes that support external and internal stakeholders, and help build the foundation that will enable our team to scale effectively in the coming year. You’ll be enabling our Professional Learning, Customer Success, and Sales teams to help enhance how districts and teachers engage students, and provide time-saving approaches that allow educators to design customized learning for different levels of learners. Your work will directly impact our ability to scale Newsela’s reach, bring our products to more educators and students, and enable accessible, engaging learning that empowers students.

Why We’ll Love You:

You have 2+ years of experience in project management or education consulting, and have demonstrated success managing multiple projects across multiple stakeholders on time and within budget. With an eye for scale and efficiency, you can tackle an unstructured business challenge and deliver creative, thorough solutions. You’ve worked with Salesforce, Google Suite, and Microsoft Excel, and can skillfully leverage data from these systems to solve challenges your team encounters. You’re an excellent communicator with strong attention to detail, and can swiftly and seamlessly manage multiple needs of internal and external stakeholders. You’ll be excited about this role if you are looking to find an organization that you can quickly make an impact on via your scalable processes and stellar communication skills.
