Job Description What you will be doing: As a Technical Project Manager leader, you will be leading a team of TPMs to drive complex engineering projects using their engineering experience. Together with internal clients, you plan requirements and manage the project from start to finish. This entails overseeing project timelines, detecting risks and effectively communicating with project stakeholders. The Technical Project Manager role in Site Reliability Engineering is key to rolling out an SRE's mission: To safeguard the customer experience.
Role Requirements and Expectations

  • Define and drive adoption of non-functional standards and blueprints related to supportability - permit to operate, resiliency patterns, capacity management, observability, etc.
  • Recruit, develop and manage technical program management team
  • Partner with cross line of business SRE Leads, Senior Production Managers, service providers and partner organizations to ensure consistent SRE strategy and practices.
  • Identify blockers and pain points and drive solutions by partnering with and influencing infrastructure, architecture and application development teams.
  • Define CCB SRE (Site Reliability Engineering) engagement strategy and drive change to transform CCB Technology to an SRE-focused support model focused on reliability and toil reduction.
  • Align CCB SRE with firmwide SRE strategy and influence firmwide SRE strategy and priorities.


Skills and Experience:

  • Hands-on leader with experience transforming a traditional technical operations model into a proactive SRE-driven organization.
  • Persuasive communication skills, including technical writing (and ability to communicate clearly and at the right level of detail)
  • Strong knowledge and experience across multiple technology platforms, including on premise and private cloud architecture (AWS, Azure, etc.)
  • Ability to influence across teams, drive change and gain consensus in challenging situations.
  • Experience defining and driving strategic change initiatives
  • Exceptional interpersonal, relationship and negotiating skills


Nice to have:

  • Technical understanding of monitoring and telemetry capabilities
  • Experience working in Site Reliability Engineering and/or Software Engineering organizations preferred
