Addepar’s Talent Programs Team is seeking an expert in how individuals, teams, and organizations learn and become more effective in a fast-paced high-growth environment. This individual contributor role is accountable for creating and facilitating engaging learning and performance solutions that are memorable and spark enduring behavior change and improvement. One of your first key assignments will be to completely re-envision Addepar’s corporate onboarding for new Addepeeps. Responsibilities

Needs Analysis

  • Perform analyses as appropriate including organizational, gap, work/task, performance, content, learner, and cost/benefit, etc.
  • Use techniques such as observation, questionnaires, interviews, focus groups, surveys, best practice research, records review
  • Deliver needs analysis at curriculum and/or course level as needed

Instructional Design & Facilitation

  • Follow best practices for creating learning and performance solutions from analysis through evaluation and implementation
  • Use a collaborative approach to create compelling course content, interactive practice, specific feedback, and activities that support the transfer of learning
  • Effectively design for and facilitate highly engaging classroom, virtual classroom/webinar, and cohort/learning squad sessions
  • Facilitate varied content including interpersonal soft skills, management, and leadership
  • Partner with People Partners and business leaders to ensure intact team learning experiences are contributing to the advancement of high performing teams
  • Manage and track cohort/learning squads providing tools and techniques for peer development and mentoring
  • Set the standards and create train-the-trainers for certifying a training faculty to present developed courseware

Change & Project Management

  • Effectively scope projects, develop project plans, track milestones, and create communication plans for successful completion of projects
  • Perform risk assessment and mitigation activities
  • Execute stakeholder analysis and manage stakeholder expectations
  • Create change management plans that effectively address organizational and individual needs
  • Select, manage, and evaluate vendor relationships to ensure an efficient use of resources
  • Create an evaluation strategy that addresses how we will measure the success of all key initiatives

Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in learning and development, organizational development, or related field
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience, master’s degree a plus
  • 4+ years facilitating soft skills content
  • 4+ years facilitating people manager content and previous direct people management experience
  • Proven track record of connecting with a variety of audiences from ICs to managers, from technical to non-technical employees
  • A solid track record of building with cross-functional teams, a plus if able to mentor and guide other members of internal teams
  • Outstanding skills using data to tell stories that prompt action
  • Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills
  • Experience in high-growth organizations
  • Ability to think creatively and encourage innovation
  • Knowledge of change management, motivation, generative culture, growth mindset, and leadership pipeline models and tools
