The Proposal Manager oversees the end-to-end execution of RFPs, RFIs, and security questionnaires to support the global Sales organization. This role focuses on maintaining a high-quality technical content library within the Responsive platform while ensuring all submissions meet strict delivery deadlines. You will collaborate with Security, Legal, and Product teams to translate complex technical specifications into accurate, customer-facing documentation.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the full lifecycle of RFPs, RFIs, and Security Questionnaires from initial intake to final submission.
  • Maintain the Responsive (RFPIO) content library by updating question-answer pairs, metadata, and review cadences based on new product releases.
  • Coordinate project timelines and lead cross-functional meetings with Sales, Legal, Security, and other stakeholders to ensure punctual fulfillment of client requests and content deliverables.
  • Translate technical product specifications into customer-friendly language and proofread all stakeholder inputs for grammatical accuracy.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of experience managing RFPs, DDQs, and Security Assessments within Cloud or SaaS software organizations.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Adobe, and dedicated RFP automation software.
  • Demonstrated experience in technical writing and editing for cybersecurity or IT-related products.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects with fixed external deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Professional proficiency in using the Responsive (formerly RFPIO) platform.
  • Direct experience working within the Cybersecurity industry.
  • Previous experience supporting Go-to-Market (GTM) team initiatives.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of IT principles including cloud architecture and software development lifecycles.
  • Experience implementing strategic planning for proposal process enhancements.
