Purchasing Analyst/Buyer

Your Responsibilities

·         Lead and coordinate RFQ processes for production equipment, automation systems, tooling and related services.

·         Analyze supplier quotations, commercial proposals and total cost of ownership.

·         Support sourcing decisions through supplier benchmarking, market analysis and risk assessment.

·         Prepare negotiation summaries and commercial recommendations for management approval.

·         Create and maintain supplier databases, sourcing records and procurement documentation.

·         Manage purchase requisitions and purchase orders while tracking delivery commitments.

·         Monitor supplier performance regarding cost, quality, delivery and service levels.

·         Identify and implement cost reduction and value improvement opportunities.

·         Support CAPEX projects from sourcing phase through equipment delivery and project completion.

·         Coordinate with engineering, manufacturing and project teams to ensure purchasing alignment.

·         Support contract review activities and maintain compliance with Magna purchasing procedures.

·         Develop KPI reports covering savings, sourcing activities, supplier performance and spend trends.

·         Resolve commercial and delivery issues through effective stakeholder and supplier communication.

Who we are looking for

Education and Experience

·         Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering or equivalent experience.

·         Experience in procurement, purchasing, sourcing, supply chain or commercial analysis.

·         Experience supporting manufacturing, automation, tooling or CAPEX-related projects preferred.

·         Working knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP and advanced Microsoft Excel capabilities.
