Job DescriptionQuality Team Member
A quality team member inspects products, materials, and production processes to ensure they meet quality and safety standards. Their duties include performing routine inspections, tests, and maintaining documentation.
Key skills for this role are attention to detail, technical aptitude with measurement tools and quality standards, and strong communication with problem-solving abilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspection and Testing:
Conduction routine checks on raw materials, in-process goods, and finished products to ensure that they meet specifications. .
- Documentation:
Recording all inspection results, data, and potential issues, and maintaining logs.
- Compliance:
Adhering to quality standards, regulations, and established testing protocols.
- Collaboration:
Working closely with production managers, engineers, and quality assurance specialists to maintain quality standards and optimize processes.
Essential Skills
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with inspection equipment, measurement tools, and a solid understanding of quality control standards and processes.
- Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detecting even minor deviations in products or processes.
- Communication: Clear oral and written communication skills to document findings and collaborate with team members.
- Organizational Skills:
The ability to manage documentation, organize data, and maintain an organized workstation.
- Visual Acuity:
High-level visual awareness to accurately perform inspections and measurements.

The hiring range for this position in the primary work location of Binghamton, New York is: $16.01-$22.03 per hour.The hiring range for other Bose work locations may vary.
