Reception Supervisor

• Oversee, mentor, and support two receptionists: managing work schedules, performance evaluations, and ongoing professional development.
• Greet visitors, answer and direct incoming calls, manage the main reception area to maintain a welcoming and professional environment.
• Ensure guests are received warmly and efficiently, following security and confidentiality protocols specific to a law firm.
• Organize front desk tasks such as meeting room bookings, supply inventory, and courier arrangements.
• Facilitate communication between attorneys, paralegals, support staff, clients, and visitors, relay messages accurately and promptly.
• Address and resolve issues related to the reception area, escalating complex matters to management when necessary.
• Always uphold strict confidentiality, handling sensitive legal documents and information with care.
• Recommend and implement enhancements to reception procedures and client service standards.
• Ensure front desk practices comply with firm policies and legal industry regulations.

• High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 5+ years of receptionist or administrative experience, preferably within a law firm or professional services environment.
• Previous supervisory or team lead experience required.
• Stong communication skills both oral and written.

Pay Transparency Range:

New York salary range: $85,000-$110,000 per annum
