Role and Responsibilities

The Recruiter will play a key role at Citarella by enhancing company culture from the beginning stages. Through thorough screening processes, interview coordination, and final selection advisement, the recruiter will drive performance in all aspects of the business. You understand how to independently source quickly and creatively, while always keeping candidate experience top of mind. You're highly responsive to our candidates as well as our hiring managers. The ideal candidate will be a brand ambassador and represent the company image in all that they do.

  • Understand,embody,and share Citarella Values and heritageas a Brand Ambassadorto allexternal prospects.
  • Conduct independent sourcing via social recruiting, networking, job postings, cold calls, etc. 
  • Work closely with hiring managers to understand their needs in order to identify the right talent; ensure goals are met. 
  • Ensure a phenomenal candidate experiencethrough each stage of the recruitment process.
  • Juggle multiple priorities with finesse. 
  • Manage a consistent,high-volumeflow of qualified candidates through active and passive sourcing methods. 
  • Develop pipeline of candidates in niche areas as determined by market needs and business strategies. 
  • Refresh requisitions and update based on needsregularly.
  • Participate in Campus Recruitingand Hiring Events.
  • Conduct candidate reference checks striving to raise our hiring bar with each new recruit. 
  • Conduct exit interviews for all voluntary terminated employees. Provide analysis report to discuss trends and areas of improvement. 
  • Support the creation of job descriptions to be aligned with the company vision for each role.
  • In addition, other duties maybe required as directed by your manager.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • 3+ years in direct recruitment role
  • Well versed in Microsoft Suite with strong skills in Excel and Power Point 
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Experience working with an ATS and recruitment platforms
  • English & Spanish required

Preferred Skills

  • Able to stand for 8 hours when needed
  • Food industry experience a plus
  • Commutability
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a wide demographic
  • Ability to travel to all Citarella locations
