The Role 
CTC is seeking a Technical Recruiter on a contract basis to support hiring across our technology teams during a period of elevated demand. This is a full-cycle role with a strong sourcing expectation, embedded in a collaborative team that operates with high standards. It is not a siloed position. You'll be counted on to deliver on your own searches and to work seamlessly alongside the existing team. 

What You'll Do 

  • Manage and execute full-cycle searches across CTC's technology function. 
  • Partner closely with hiring managers to develop job descriptions, search strategies, and interview plans. 
  • Quickly develop fluency in our business, culture, and teams to understand what great talent looks like across technology at all career levels 
  • Thoughtfully lead candidate debrief and calibration sessions, ensuring alignment between interviewers, hiring managers, and other key stakeholders. 
  • Manage candidate experience from first contact through offer with accuracy, efficiency, and professionalism. 

 

What We're Looking For 

  • ~5+ years of recruiting experience with strong preference for experience at quant hedge funds or prop trading firms. 
  • Ideal candidate has spent time in both search firm and corporate recruiting environments. 
  • Demonstrated strength in direct sourcing, with a track record of proactive outreach and pipeline development. 
  • Track record of successfully vetting candidates for technical ability as well as cultural attributes. 
  • Demonstrated track record of successfully utilizing behavioral interviews. 
  • Operates with a high sense of urgency and can ramp quickly with minimal onboarding. 
  • Fluency with technical assessment tools such as Codility and CoderPad. 
  • Strong communicator who can engage sophisticated technical and business audiences. 
  • Available to commit to the full contract term. 
  • Chicago or New York required. Hybrid in-office.  

Most teams at CTC, with the exception of Trading, follow a hybrid workplace model, subject to change based on business need.
