Recruiting Coordinator/Candidate Lead

What You'll Do
In this role, you'll work with the Global Talent Acquisition Team to hire the world class group of professionals that make our goals achievable. You'll work with hiring managers across our myriad of teams, including international, as the candidate advocate for every person interviewing at Flatiron. You'll also coordinate each step of a candidate's interview cycle from start to finish, ensuring a smooth, professional, and high quality interview experience for all candidates. In addition, you'll also:

• Arrange a high volume of interviews for candidates - Initiating and managing the full cycle for the interview coordination process
• Manage Flatiron's constantly growing and changing interview calendar effectively to enable Flatiron to achieve our hiring goals
• Communicate internally and externally - From initial outreach when a candidate applies, to coordinating virtual interviews with the hiring team
• Help drive impact on the candidate experience as the first point of contact for candidates and be a resource throughout the recruitment process
• Engage and foster genuine relationships and regularly following up in between the various steps of the interview process
• Recommend and drive process improvements and documentation
• Update our Applicant Tracking System with all notes and relevant information to each candidate
• Collaborate with recruiters and hiring managers to ensure candidates are moved through the recruitment process seamlessly
• Hold interviewers and hiring managers accountable to entering feedback and making decisions in a timely manner
• Own and the entire candidate experience throughout the recruitment process

Who You Are
You're a customer service oriented cross-functional collaborator with a minimum 1 year working experience in a coordination, executive assistant or customer service role. You're excited by the prospect of rolling up your sleeves to tackle meaningful problems each and every day. You're a kind, passionate and collaborative problem-solver who seeks and gives candid feedback, and values the chance to make an important impact.

• You have experience with heavy calendaring for multiple individuals or teams (strong Google email/calendar/doc skills)
• You have very strong writing and communication skills and have the ability to work across a variety of stakeholders, including executives, and are able to work with a spectrum of personalities
• You are passionate about customer service and are able to maintain composure in high-pressure situations
• You are strategic about your approach to being organized and pay a high attention to detail; you are able to manage a high volume of candidates effectively
• You have the ability to think on your feet, change or adapt to ambiguous situations and juggle multiple priorities at once
• You have an interest in a career in HR/Talent Acquisition
• You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• You are passionate about healthcare and the fight against cancer

Extra Credit

• You have experience working in a fast paced environment
• You have recruiting/talent acquisition experience
• You have previously worked with Greenhouse ATS

Job Compensation Range
Salary Range: $32.69 - $49.04
Preferred Primary Location: NY hub
The annual pay range reflected above for this position is based on the preferred primary location of the role which is listed in the job description. Salary ranges for other locations vary from the range reflected above. Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. An annual bonus and equity may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
