Description

We are looking for an experienced and entrepreneurial Regional Sales Director to own the company's go-to-market strategy and revenue growth within a defined region.

This role is ideal for someone who combines strong B2B enterprise sales experience, a solid understanding of capital markets and financial institutions, and the ability to build a market from the ground up. You will be responsible for developing relationships with banks, brokerages, asset managers, wealth platforms, and other financial institutions, while building the local partnerships, processes, and team required to scale the company in the region.

We are looking for people who are highly independent, commercially driven, and comfortable operating in a fast-moving startup environment. You should be someone who can identify opportunities, open doors, build processes from scratch, and take ownership beyond the traditional boundaries of a sales role.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and execute the regional go-to-market strategy, including target accounts, market segmentation, competitive positioning, partnerships, and sales priorities.
  • Own regional revenue targets and take full responsibility for market growth.
  • Own the full enterprise sales cycle for strategic accounts, from prospecting and first meetings through negotiation and signed contracts.
  • Proactively identify and bring in new customers across banks, brokerages, asset managers, wealth platforms, and other financial institutions.
  • Build sales processes, market-entry strategies, and commercial activities from scratch when entering or developing a new region.
  • Develop and manage local partnerships that support pipeline generation, market credibility, and business development.
  • Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders and decision-makers across financial institutions.
  • Represent the company in meetings with senior executives, commercial stakeholders, and technology teams.
  • Understand customer needs and communicate the company's offering within the context of capital markets, financial data, APIs, iframe integrations, and B2B technology solutions.
  • Work closely with Product, Customer Success, Marketing, Partnerships, and other internal teams to move opportunities forward and support customers.
  • Take ownership of opportunities and business needs even when they fall outside the traditional scope of the role.
  • Hire, coach, and manage regional sales talent as the market grows.
  • Build and maintain an active network of relevant contacts within the region.
  • Provide regular reporting on pipeline, forecasts, market developments, competitive activity, and overall regional progress to global leadership.
Requirements

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in enterprise, institutional, or B2B sales, ideally within Fintech, Capital Markets, Financial Data, WealthTech, or B2B SaaS.
  • Proven track record of closing complex, high-value B2B deals.
  • Experience selling to or working with banks, brokerages, asset managers, wealth platforms, or other financial institutions.
  • Strong understanding of the capital markets ecosystem and the ability to communicate comfortably using relevant financial and technical terminology.
  • Ability to understand and discuss technology concepts relevant to the sales process, including APIs, iframe integrations, data platforms, and B2B software integrations.
  • Strong understanding of markets, customer structures, buying processes, and commercial decision-making.
  • Existing network of relevant contacts within the target region.
  • Proven ability to build sales processes, pipelines, partnerships, and market presence from scratch.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong ability to identify opportunities and turn them into commercial results.
  • Highly autonomous and comfortable operating with significant ownership in a fast-moving startup environment.
  • Willingness to take initiative and handle responsibilities outside the strict boundaries of the role when needed.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent English, with the ability to lead high-level business conversations and negotiations.
  • Fluent in the primary language of the relevant region.
