About the role:
CHANEL is seeking a High-End Regional Sales Manager for the Northeast region who will act as a strategic leader and ambassador for the High Jewelry and Haute Horlogerie business. This role is responsible for driving significant High-End sales performance, cultivating and expanding an elite client portfolio, and strengthening cross-divisional partnerships across one of our most dynamic and high-potential markets.
Based in New York City and supporting the broader Northeast region, this role operates at the intersection of boutique, private client, and international business, requiring a highly entrepreneurial mindset and a strong ability to engage an ultra-high-net-worth clientele.
What impact you can create at CHANEL:
Drive High-End Business Performance
- Achieve and exceed annual High-End sales targets through the sale of High Jewelry and Haute Horlogerie pieces above $50K
- Deliver strong performance on exceptional High Jewelry and Haute Horlogerie pieces, with a focus on creations above $1M
- Maintain a high level of conversion across all client interactions, including events and bespoke appointments
- Optimize pricing integrity by managing discount levels and special request conversions
Convert, Develop and Grow an Elite Client Portfolio
- Build, manage, and retain a robust portfolio of high-end clients across all spend segmentations
- Recruit and acquire new high-potential clients annually, expanding the High-End client base
- Reactivate lapsed clients and re-engage them through personalized outreach and experiences
- Develop tailored engagement strategies for top-tier clients, including individualized annual plans for clients with $1M annual spend.
- Cultivate long-term loyalty by delivering highly personalized and meaningful client journeys
Client Experience and Events
- Partner with the US HBD Team to design and execute bespoke client experiences for your High-End clients
- Partner on local and international High Jewelry events, including collection launches and client activations
- Drive client attendance, engagement, and conversion at events
- Curate client assortments and contribute to strategic client selection and invitation processes
Cross-Divisional Partnerships
- Identify, prospect, and convert top Fashion clients into High Jewelry clients
- Partner closely with Fashion associates within boutiques to develop and transition clients into High-End, supporting their client relationships while leading High-End conversion
- Act as a key liaison within your boutiques to ensure seamless and elevated client experiences across categories
Champion Education and Brand Excellence
- Elevate High-End product knowledge within boutique teams through coaching, inspiration, and ongoing partnership
- Reinforce a collaborative model where Fashion associates identify and introduce clients, while High-End selling is led by the High-End Regional Sales Manager
- Act as a storyteller and brand ambassador, bringing CHANEL’s heritage, craftsmanship, and creations to life
- Consistently embody the CHANEL style, allure, and standards of excellence in all interactions

What you will bring to the team:
- Proven success in High Jewelry or High-End luxury sales with a strong track record of delivering significant revenue
- Experience managing ultra-high-net-worth clients, ideally within the Northeast / New York market
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to influence across Fashion, boutiques, and corporate teams
- A fresh perspective on client development, with the ability to attract and engage new High-End clients
- Exceptional storytelling, cultural awareness, and comfort using CRM tools to build and grow a high-value client portfolio
Position Logistics:
- Requires in-store presence to develop and coach teams, ensure boutique image and operational standards are upheld, and deliver elevated client service to drive business results.
- Minimum of 7+ years professional experience in a luxury retailer (preferred) or relevant client-facing role such as hospitality
- A flexible schedule with the ability to work some nights, weekends, and holidays
- Maintain a consistent in-boutique presence 3 days per week across the Northeast boutique network, with 2 days per week dedicated to work from home.
- This role requires extensive travel, including approximately 40% travel with 5–6 international trips per year for events and collection launches
- Balance time between in-boutique selling, client outreach, and offsite client engagement
- Boutique coverage includes (subject to change): New York City Metro (57th Street, SoHo, 5th Avenue WFJ, Madison Avenue), Short Hills NJ, Tysons VA, Boston MA, Greenwich CT and other approved doors within the region.
Compensation:
- The anticipated base salary range for this position is 135,000 through 200,000. Base salary is one component of the total compensation for this position. Other forms of variable pay [may/will] be offered for this position. Other components [may/will] include bonus potential, benefits, and/or perks.
