Team Overview

The Inside Sales Financial Services team supports small to mid-sized financial institutions, including banks, credit unions, finance companies, and reseller partners across mortgage, tenant, and employment screening segments. This team plays a key role in managing and growing existing customer relationships through consultative account management, upsell, and cross-sell opportunities within the reseller channel. The role sits within a collaborative, high growth sales environment focused on delivering value-driven solutions and long-term customer partnerships. This role reports directly to the Sales Director of the Sales Management division. This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.

Role Overview and Core Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow a ~$1M portfolio of existing accounts within an assigned territory, driving revenue through consultative account management
  • Identify and execute upsell and cross-sell opportunities within the reseller channel and existing book of business, while engaging warm leads to generate incremental revenue
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, resolving issues related to pricing, products, billing, systems, compliance, and legal matters
  • Meet or exceed activity metrics (e.g., 25 calls or 1.5 hours of talk time) and coordinate cross-functional support with internal teams (e.g., Pricing, Compliance, Legal)
  • Maintain accurate post-sales documentation, including call notes, follow-ups, and case management in Salesforce and other internal systems

Required Knowledge and Experiences

  • 2+ years of inside sales or related experience, with a demonstrated ability to apply effective sales and marketing techniques
  • Proven success building and maintaining strong customer relationships
  • Ability to quickly learn and navigate multiple internal and external systems (e.g., Salesforce, Gong, CPQ, CLM, Teams, Outlook)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and OneNote
  • Partner with sales leadership and pricing teams post-call to support pricing, contracts, and required documentation

Pay Scale Information:

The U.S. base salary range for this position is $37,400.00 - $58,000.00 annually. This position is eligible for both base pay and commission earnings. TransUnion commission targets are generally 20% – 50% of base salary and may vary based on position. *The salary range for this position reflects a reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for this job. At TransUnion, actual compensation is based on careful consideration of additional factors such as (but not limited to) an individual’s education, training, work experience, job-related skill set, location, and industry knowledge, as well as the scope and responsibilities of the position and market considerations. Certain positions may be also eligible for long-term incentives and other payments based on applicable company guidance and plan documents.
