We are a growing rheumatology telehealth startup focused on delivering accessible, high-quality specialty care to patients across New York. We are seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Rheumatologist to join us as a Medical Director / Collaborating Physician in a flexible, part-time capacity.

This role is ideal for a physician who is interested in helping shape and guide a new practice without the demands of a full-time position. The position is primarily collaborative and strategic, with light ongoing involvement and some initial time commitment to help build and establish the practice.

Role Overview

The Medical Director will partner with our leadership team to support the clinical vision, quality, and growth of the practice. This is not a full-time clinical role. The physician will serve in an advisory and oversight capacity, with responsibilities centered around collaboration, clinical guidance, and helping set the foundation for a high-quality telehealth rheumatology service.

Ideal Candidate

  • Board-certified in Rheumatology
  • Licensed in New York and able to practice in the state
  • Ideally has an established professional corporation (PC) or similar entity
  • Interested in a flexible, part-time partnership opportunity
  • Comfortable contributing to a startup environment
  • Strong communicator with an interest in innovation and access to care

 

Compensation

  • Monthly stipend provided in the range of $2,000-$4,000 monthly
  • Compensation to be discussed based on scope, experience, and time commitment
