As an Associate in the Commercial Banking Credit Risk Business Management team, you will work at the intersection of strategy, operations, and financial oversight, supporting one of the firm's most critical risk functions. As an Associate in Commercial Banking Credit Risk Business Management at JPMorgan Chase, you will play a key role supporting the Credit Risk Leadership team in driving strategy, managing operations, and optimizing business performance. You will partner with stakeholders across the organization to deliver insights, manage vendor relationships, and ensure the team operates with efficiency and precision. Job responsibilities

  • Support the Credit Risk Leadership team in day-to-day business management activities, including strategic planning, resourcing, and efficiency initiatives
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to monitor utilization of third-party providers and track forecast and actuals versus plan, clearly articulating variance drivers across the portfolio
  • Organize and present complex information in a strategic and compelling way, demonstrating strong design acumen and proficiency in Excel while embracing emerging technologies
  • Leverage business intelligence tools to generate process efficiencies, enhance operational controls, and support data-driven decision-making
  • Conduct vendor performance reviews and spend analysis as part of supporting the procurement and oversight of third-party providers
  • Collect, organize, and maintain internal resources and documentation on collaboration platforms such as SharePoint
  • Prepare presentations and communications for internal meetings, leadership forums, and strategic planning sessions
  • Respond to ad-hoc requests with agility and a solutions-oriented mindset, supporting the broader team as business needs evolve

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 5 years of professional experience in business management, financial services, or a related field
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly to diverse audiences
  • Demonstrated financial acumen and familiarity with organizational metrics and performance reporting
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively and build strong partnerships across teams and functions
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel, with a forward-thinking mindset toward emerging technology
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and adaptable, with the ability to respond quickly to shifting priorities

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field
  • Experience in vendor procurement and third-party oversight
  • Familiarity with working across multi-location or matrixed teams
  • Experience using business intelligence tools to support reporting and operational improvements
  • Knowledge of credit risk concepts or financial services risk management frameworks
