- Provide direct patient care for patients undergoing procedures in the imaging suite such as CT, MR, US, Radiography, Mammography, Nuclear Medicine and Cardi Lab where applicable
- Assist physicians and technologists with patient preparation for procedures
- Assists during procedures
- Gather information. Responsible for appropriate labeling, handling, delivering and tracking of specimens from collection to reporting
- Provide health education information. Provide post procedure instructions
- Care of patients: performs technical and supportive patient care skills including, but not limited to:
- Waived testing
- Respiratory care
- Medical emergency response
- Safe and effective medication administration
- Prioritization of urgent patient care needs
- IV skills, venipuncture
- Catheterization skill
- EKG monitoring
- Infection control: Provides environment to prevent and control the spread of disease within the clinical setting.

Required Qualifications:
- Graduate of an approved RN nursing program
- Current and valid RN license
- BCLS certification
- 2+ years of experience as a practicing RN
- Competent in the use of equipment and related supplies for selected patient population
- CPR, oxygen administration and intravenous therapy
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in nursing
- Specialty nursing certification applicable to medical imaging
- ACLS certification
- 2+ years of nursing experience in a medical imaging department
- Windows computer experience, RIS experience
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
