Job Summary:

The Regional Vice President – Endowments & Foundations (Community) will drive new business to the firm through strong relationships with strategic partners, businesses, organizations, endowments, and foundations. They will work closely with cross-functional teams internally to identify new opportunities, negotiate mutually beneficial agreements, develop processes for lead generation & intake, and successfully launch new initiatives within our sales infrastructure.

The Regional Vice President must possess a unique skill set to succeed in this highly dynamic role. With a focus on relationship building, communication, and sales acumen, the role will play a vital part in driving new revenue and expanding the firm’s reach while ensuring a best‑in‑class experience for every potential client.

Reporting to the Executive Managing Partner, the new Regional Vice President – Endowments & Foundations (Community) will:

  • Lead and make successful go‑to‑market partnerships with institutional referral partners beyond our custodial relationships.
  • Drive strong institutional partnerships in the Endowment & Foundation space through strategic relationships.
  • Drive the success of institutional partnerships with outside companies, including the management of qualified plan assets and making wealth management services available to company employees.
  • Directly contribute to success through sales conversations with prospective clients who are generated through these efforts.
  • Support the fast‑growing, dynamic sales team and collaborate to drive sales momentum within a client‑focused environment.
  • Own the sales pipeline from start to finish, converting and nurturing potential clients and ensuring a best‑in‑class experience for every prospective client.
  • Assist in identifying and qualifying potential clients to ensure strong alignment with the firm’s services and that prospects are a good fit.
  • Engage with potential clients over Zoom, phone, and/or in person to understand their needs and clearly articulate how the firm can help.
  • Actively participate in professional growth, soliciting and incorporating feedback into sales conversations and participating in team trainings or activities.

  • Financial acumen: understanding of financial metrics; ability to evaluate the financial impact of partnerships and make data‑driven decisions.
  • Leadership: ability to lead cross‑functional teams and effectively manage stakeholders within the company and with partners.
  • Sales execution: proven ability to manage a high‑volume sales pipeline, convert and nurture prospects, and deliver a best‑in‑class client experience.
  • Client engagement: experience conducting consultative conversations over Zoom, phone, and in person; strong listening and presentation skills.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of successful sales experience in financial services.
  • Series 65 or Series 66 license (or qualifying exemption via CFP®, ChFC, PFS, CFA, or CIC where applicable).
  • Experience using CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and managing sales pipelines.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, listening, and analytical skills.
  • Self‑motivated, highly coachable, and growth‑oriented mindset.
  • Deep understanding of the financial services industry and investment management.
  • Passion for helping clients achieve their financial goals.
  • Proven time management and organizational skills in high‑volume, high‑energy environments.
  • Strong computer aptitude with proficiency in MS Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Flexibility to travel as needed.

Work Schedule:

This professional role requires availability Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.


Working Conditions:

Professional office environment, daytime hours, working inside, standing, and sitting, will be assigned to a workstation, no heavy lifting over 20 lbs.

Actual base pay within this range will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to the applicant’s geographic location, relevant experience, education, skills and licenses/certifications.  This position is also eligible to earn incentive compensation through one of Mercer Advisors’ incentive compensation programs. 

Pay Range
$148,750$175,000 USD
