About The RoleSalesforce's ISV partner ecosystem is a powerful engine that drives revenue, innovation and customer success. Our partners connect to and extend the Salesforce platform's value by embedding their data, workflows and agents in the flow of work for our mutual users. The AMER Apps, Agents and Integrations (AAI) organization seeks an experienced leader for it's Sales aligned partner portfolio.
As Regional Vice President, ISV Partnerships you'll lead a team of tenured Partner Account Managers (PAMs) responsible for named partner relationships across build, market, go-to-market, support and operate motions. In doing so you'll play a meaningful role in driving Salesforce revenue metrics, next-gen platform adoption and the launch of our transact-able marketplace on the AgentExchange- where customers go to discover, buy, activate, and manage trusted solutions across Salesforce and Slack. Partners your team manages include leaders in the sales productivity, revenue intelligence, data enrichment, content management, event and productivity spaces.

This is a rare opportunity to lead a high performing and high impact team at the center of our industries major shifts on Platform, AI, Agent and Marketplace. The AMER Sales Apps partners will continue to play a huge role in helping Salesforce drive adoption and consumption of our products, grow our revenues and and deliver customer success.
Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership: Internally, represent team and partner portfolio to influence Salesforce leaders across Global Partners, Distribution, Product, Marketing and supporting stakeholders. Externally, establish yourself as a trusted advisor to partner CxO and senior executives across functions; evangelize the Salesforce platform, partner program and priority initiatives to ensure buy-in, resourcing and execution.
  • Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Partner Account Managers (PAMs) ensuring the team consistently achieves revenue, platform adoption and marketplace targets. You're a multiplier to their efforts, influence up and out to accelerate opportunities and remove obstacles. You instill a "GM mindset" in your team and maintain a culture of feedback, ownership and grit. You proactively develop talent in a consistent and structured way.
  • Portfolio Growth: Own team's strategy for driving partner adoption of our next-gen platform (Agentforce, Data 360, Slack). Ensure focus on both in-quarter deliverables and also work that will produce dividends for years to come. Prioritize partner opportunities for investments from Partner Solutions, Partner Marketing and Partner Success.
  • Commercial Execution: Oversee pipeline generation and accurately forecast the business. Inspect partner health metrics and proactively raise risks and opportunities for the team to address. Lead the negotiation of complex and material revenue share agreements.
  • Model AI-first: personally adopt and champion Salesforce AI tools like Coworker and Slackbot, as well as external AI tools to drive personal, team and business outcomes.
QualificationsRequired
  • 8+ years in ISV, technology or product partnership and/or sales experience in the SaaS, PaaS or Technology industry
  • 3+ years directly managing a team of quota-carrying, named account managers
  • Consistent track record of achieving quota and targets, territory growth, and team growth
  • Strong work ethic, critical thinking, problem solving, business acumen and technical aptitude
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to synthesize complex situations into crisp updates
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and embrace change in a fast paced, demanding environment
  • Compelling point of view for how AI and Agents are transforming industries and the opportunities ahead
  • Proficiency with Salesforce, Slack, Google Workspace and AI productivity tools
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

  • Experience working at or with a Cloud or Hyperscaler Marketplace
  • Knowledge of Salesforce next-gen platform technologies Agentforce, Data 360 and Slack
  • Experience in the sales productivity, revenue intelligence, document automation, or sales engagement space

At Salesforce, we believe in equitable compensation practices that reflect the dynamic nature of labor markets across various regions. The typical base salary range for this position is $244,720 - $327,250 annually There is a different range applicable to specific work locations. In California and New York, and select cities in the metropolitan areas of Boston, Chicago, Seattle, and Washington DC, the base pay range for this role in those locations is $269,150 - $360,010 per year. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process. The range represents base salary only, and does not include company bonus, incentive for sales roles, equity or benefits, as applicable.
