About the Role:

Halo is expanding its Life and Long-Term Care division and looking for a driven, advisor-focused professional to help grow its presence among Registered Investment Advisors (RIAs) and independent advisors. This role combines advisor onboarding, case design consulting, and relationship management, with responsibilities that include driving production, managing advisor relationships, and supporting the execution of key initiatives with enterprise accounts and distribution partners.

The ideal candidate for this position is proactive, organized, and confident when communicating over the phone. They should be skilled at explaining complex insurance concepts in a clear and practical manner.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Promote and educate advisors on life insurance and long-term care planning strategies across multiple carriers. 
  • Drive life insurance and LTC sales through consultative advisor education, proactive RIA relationship management, and the recruitment of new advisors to the Halo platform.
  • Provide advisors with product knowledge, competitive positioning, and consulting to help them support their clients. Deliver high-quality support and problem solving throughout the sales cycle.
  • Assist in case design for advisors by leveraging advanced planning concepts, tax-efficient strategies, and product knowledge. 
  • Act as the primary relationship manager for advisors and enterprise accounts, introducing them to Halo’s value-added programs, resources and technology. Managing the end-to-end sales lifecycle, including follow-ups about quotes and open opportunities, and ongoing contact and appreciate calls.
  • Support sales growth by managing lead generation lists, tracking campaign performance, and reporting on outreach results and pipeline activity. Partner internally to assist in developing marketing content and advisor-facing materials to support sales initiatives
  • Drive operational efficiency by serving as a liaison between Sales and Operations to ensure smooth case processing. Support onboarding workflows and advisor set-up processes, keeping internal/CRM systems accurate throughout.
Experience and Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in life insurance, LTC, internal wholesaling, financial services sales, or related roles
  • This role provides a competitive compensation package, including an annual base salary of $65,000-$75,000, and variable compensation/commission based on results against business objectives.
  • Strong understanding of life insurance, LTC, annuities industry, and the related tax implications
  • Excellent verbal communication and phone-based sales skills; Ability to explain complex products in an advisor-friendly manner
  • Must be well-organized and self-motivated, with a strong attention to detail. Skilled at client follow-through
  • Proficiency in CRM systems (Salesforce preferred); working knowledge of carrier websites and life & annuity illustration systems
  • Insurance licensing required; Series 6 or 7 preferred (or expected within 180 days’ employment)
