NYC Alliance seeks proactive, detail-oriented Sales Assistant to join our Mass division. The Sales Assistant will help drive seamless execution across client relations, market preparation, and order management. In this role, you will collaborate closely with sales leaders, Buyers and internal partners to ensure exceptional service, organized showroom operations, and accurate sales processes. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator with excellent organizational skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to contribute to a collaborative, client-focused team.

Responsibilities:

·       Develop and nurture relationships with clients and Buying Assistants.

·       Assist the sales team in preparing for meetings and creating presentation materials, such as decks and reports.

·       Manage order processing by accurately preparing and entering sales orders.

·       Conduct market research and assist with competitor analysis as necessary.

·       Respond to customer inquiries in a timely manner.

·       Coordinate market planning and logistics, including appointment scheduling and showroom setup.

·       Track and manage samples, ensuring efficient inbound and outbound processes.

·       Maintain the showroom for seasonal markets, ensuring samples are organized and displayed effectively



Requirements

·       Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

·       Able to build and maintain relationships with clients and team members.

·       Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.

·       Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; experience with sales software is beneficial.

·       Basic understanding of retail math and sales reporting.

·       Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

·       Team-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

·       Good listening skills and a willingness to learn from experiences.
