In a nutshell

This maternity cover role supports the Americas Commercial Operations Team with a combination of administrative and creative responsibilities. Ultimately, the role is comprised of three functions: general office management, sales & marketing, and member services. Various day-to-day tasks include preparing presentations, reporting, database maintenance, coordinating travel & team meetings, accounting administration, tracking services, group leads, individual reservations and travel industry events. The ideal candidate is extremely organized with a strong ability to prioritize while passionate about travel, culture and design.


Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Assist Sales Directors as needed with sales and marketing support
  • Source venues and travel logistics for sales initiatives and events
  • Diligently handle client communication, invitations, and follow up
  • Service travel industry clients with care - both individual and group requests
  • Track outstanding travel industry commissions
  • Sales related research and prospecting (travel agencies, tour operators, etc.)
  • Support Account Director’s projects, presentations, reporting and hotel communication
  • Initiate new processes to increase efficiency
  • Provide weekly and monthly reporting to team
  • Provide general organizational and departmental administrative support
  • Coordinate operational tasks and updates with our member hotels and internal stakeholders
  • Daily database maintenance

Experience & Mindset

  • Bachelor's degree in business, hospitality management or related fields
  • Spoken and written fluency in English (Additional languages of Spanish or French are beneficial)
  • Previous experience in travel or hospitality industry strongly desired
  • Analytical and administrative skills with attention for detail
  • Professional customer service experience
  • Proactive and quick-thinking in problem resolution
  • Avid learner with exceptional interpersonal skills and creative mind
  • Team player with a proactive and positive attitude
  • Adaptable and able to work under pressure
  • Excellent time management skills with ability to prioritize work
  • Proficiency in MS office applications and keynote (Experience with Salesforce and Tableau are beneficial)

The annual pay range for this position is $60.000 to $69.000.
