Role: Sales Coordinator                                                                                      

Department:   Sales

Reports To:    Director of Sales

Status:            Non - Exempt

Job Summary: Provide daily support to the Sales team by coordinating with sales representatives and assisting the Sales Director in both day-to-day activities and projects.

Responsibilities

  • Responding promptly and professionally to incoming wholesale customer and sales rep inquiries via phone and email.
  • Acquiring and applying comprehensive product knowledge of our entire catalog
  • Entering and maintaining account information, item data, sales reports, and sales rep records
  • Managing the logistics (i.e., shipments, registration, prototype requests, ordering of product and furniture) for tradeshows, gift shows, consumer shows, and/or customer meetings; some travel and physical labor may be required
  • Creating daily/weekly reports to support the sales team
  • Coordinating semi-annual mailings and sample shipments
  • Preparing sales documents, training tools, and other supporting materials
  • Managing the B2B website and Faire Marketplace for US and International stores.
  • Managing the store locator by keeping up-to-date information.
  • Assisting with follow-up phone calls to potential, new, and existing accounts
  • Creation and management of weekly email blasts and other marketing initiatives.
  • Assisting with general customer service and wholesale order processing, as necessary, including International customers.

Skills

  • 1-2 years of prior account management experience
  • Experience working with an ERP is preferred
  • Excellent organizational, attention to detail, time management, and follow-up skills
  • Ability to work effectively and efficiently under tight deadlines
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Sound critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Self-starter who can work independently, but knows when to bring the management team into the decision-making process
  • Fast learner; can learn, retain, and apply information quickly and efficiently
  • Ability to remain calm, positive, and effective in high-energy, high-expectation situations of urgency
  • High degree of computer literacy; must be proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
