Lazard is one of the world’s preeminent financial advisory and asset management firms. Our people and culture make the difference. While global in presence and reach, ours is a close, collaborative community of just over 3,000 professionals. Lazard is a place of continuous knowledge sharing, skill development and relationship building, where professionals grow and succeed together. Our entrepreneurial culture, flat structure and embrace of individual differences, allow creative ideas, original concepts, and unique perspectives to drive our business forward — and for careers to take flight.

Lazard Asset Management is seeking an experienced sales data professional to manage third-party platforms for data collection, verification and reporting in support of assets under management (AUM) and sales reporting, territory scoring and segmentation, field insight and sales compensation. The role oversees LAM's Broadridge SalesVision platform, which brings together sales and AUM data from distribution partners and covers most of LAM's third-party field sales across mutual funds, separately managed accounts, retirement plan accounts and UCITS (European-regulated funds).

This person will play a critical role within Sales Enablement and will work closely with sales management and external field sales. They will serve as a key interface with Broadridge, Lazard's external software vendor and sales data management system, and will be the point of escalation for data issues and the primary partner to Finance, Sales Technology and data providers.

We'll trust you to:

  • Data feeds and quality. Own the daily, weekly and monthly data feeds into SalesVision, working with data providers, custodians and recordkeepers to keep the data complete and accurate and to add new sources as distribution relationships change.
  • Data standards. Set and maintain data standards and rules for the institutional and third-party distribution teams, and check sales and AUM figures against source data, leading the resolution of any discrepancies.
  • Territory management. Keep approved changes to territories, wholesalers and personnel consistent across SalesVision, the Broadridge Wholesaler Compensation portal and Salesforce.
  • Sales compensation. Own the data side of the quarterly compensation cycle for the institutional and third-party distribution teams, working with Finance on calculations, reporting and review. Finance owns approval and payment.
  • Salesforce connection. Own the connection that brings key sales data from Broadridge into internal systems such as Salesforce, and confirm that the data matches SalesVision.
  • ETF data and vendor management. Own ETF sales and AUM data in Broadridge Market Analytics, and manage the Broadridge relationship, including service standards, training and contract discussions.
  • Controls and improvement. Maintain written procedures and controlled access for recurring processes, deliver analysis and reporting to stakeholders including senior management, and lead automation and AI improvements.

You'll need to have:

  • 5–10+ years of experience in asset management sales data or managing data from distribution partners such as broker-dealers and wealth platforms, including owning a function or platform.
  • Experience with Broadridge SalesVision or a comparable platform, and working knowledge of sales and AUM data for mutual funds, separately managed accounts, retirement plans, UCITS and ETFs.
  • A record of running sales compensation data, or administering a compensation platform, accurately and on deadline with a Finance counterpart.
  • Advanced Excel and strong analytical skills, with experience managing vendor relationships and working with senior sales, Finance and technology leaders.

It's a bonus to have:

  • Experience connecting vendor data to Salesforce or a similar CRM system.
  • SQL, Python or comparable tools for data checks and automation.
  • Experience supervising analysts and putting automation or AI into operational processes.
