As a Sales Development Representative with VTS, you will use your creative thinking to help us build our sales pipeline, increase deal velocity, and ultimately increase revenue. You’ll be partnered with a few Account Executives and will have unprecedented access to our full consultative sales cycle. Your days will include a mix of research, outreach, collaboration, and education. In six months, you’ll know you’re a success when you are an expert at identifying opportunities for VTS in your accounts and assigned commercial real estate market, you’re able to partner cross-functionally with our account executives and marketing team to offer custom campaigns to target those opportunities, and you’re filling our pipeline or reducing time to close on our deals.

To thrive in this role, you should have prior experience in consultative sales or with a creative agency, working on bespoke campaigns. You should have a growth mindset both for VTS and for yourself. You should be hungry for opportunities and access - you will have plenty of both here! 

Here’s what you can expect as a Sales Development Representative: 

  • Market research: You will research the commercial real estate market in your target area. You will learn about acquisitions, tenant requirements, and various economic or business challenges and trends and then use that data to identify opportunities for VTS.
  • Account research: You will research accounts to see how VTS can optimize revenue from our existing book of business. Who should we prioritize outreach to? How should we do it?
  • Outreach: Once you’ve identified good opportunities, you’ll partner with your account executive and our talented marketing team to identify how to best capitalize on this. Email, phone calls, video, drip campaigns, social media ads, microsites, networking events - no idea and no channel is off limits! 
  • Collaboration and communication: Throughout every step of our process, you will be working with sales, marketing, senior leadership, and more. Our Sales Development Representatives take the lead in communication across these roles and in preparing everyone for meetings. How will we deliver on this campaign? Who is doing what in the meeting?

Pay Transparency

At VTS, we pride ourselves on articulating a clear and transparent philosophy around equitable, impartial compensation that will allow us to recruit and retain an exceptional team. Base salary is market driven at the point in time of offer and is based on tier 1 market data. The salary for this role will range between  $63,000 to $77,000  and is determined by a few factors including your skills, prior relevant experience, quality of interviews, leveling and geography.
