Sales Development Representative

PayTrace - Remote

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) is a crucial part of the lead generation and sales process within PayTrace and is responsible for generating leads for our Account Executive team.  The SDR will be assigned various targeted lists for outbound cold calling, developing a pipeline and generating new opportunities for sales. 

What you'll do:

  • Drive top-of-the-funnel lead generation for account executives.

  • Manage leads through the sales pipeline by setting appointments, following up on leads, and tracking progress towards sales goals.

  • Update and manage all sales activities, opportunities, and account information in CRM.

  • Generate new business pipeline through outbound prospecting, cold calling, and email campaigns.

  • Earn commissions by exceeding KPI’s - including outbound activity (phone/email/social messages), the number of appointments set, monthly and quarterly opportunities generated, etc.

  • Establish active communication and engagement with prospects to create new leads and sales opportunities

  • Deliver high-quality professional service consistent with our core values.

  • Stay up-to-date on market trends, industry developments, and competition.

  • Overcome objections and communicate persuasively and effectively.

  • Collaborate with sales and marketing to build strategies for generating new prospects.

What we need from you:

  • High school diploma or GED.

  • Minimum 2 years relevant work experience for SaaS company.

  • Minimum 2 years experience in cold calling and generating new leads.

  • Proven record of success with developing prospecting lists and meeting or exceeding targets.

  • Experience in the Payment Industry, SaaS, or B2B experience.

  • Ability to work independently with limited direction in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong presentation and communication skills in person, via phone or online or via email with customers and prospects.

  • Highly organized with the ability to multitask, prioritize deadlines, manage time efficiently and track data.

  • Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed quotas.

  • Previous experience selling datacenter or Database-focused solutions are a plus.

  • Prior experience with HubSpot, Zoominfo, Outreach, Slack, Google Suite, LinkedIn and other sales and marketing tools are a plus.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • A desire to learn and grow.

  • A collaborative spirit with excellent cross-functional working skills.

Travel Requirements: Under 10%

Salary range: $40,000-$55,000 base plus incentive plan.
