About Finch

We believe every American household deserves access to counsel in life’s biggest moments. At Finch, we’re building the infrastructure to make justice radically more accessible. Our modern approach to consumer law automates the admin work and puts clients first, starting with personal injury.

Since launching in April, we’ve grown 10x and are now powering pre-litigation for top law firms across the country. We combine expert operators with purpose-built AI to handle intake, claim opening, medical records, police reports, lien management, demands, and everything in between.

We’re backed by Sequoia, Redpoint, and the founders & CEOs of generational companies like DoorDash, Ironclad, and Digits. We’re rebuilding how the law serves everyday Americans from first principles, and we’re hiring exceptional operators to help us scale it nationwide.

This Role

This is one of Finch's first SDR roles — which means you won't just be filling a seat, you'll be building the foundation for how we grow. You'll own top-of-funnel, help shape our outbound playbook, and be the first voice many law firms ever hear from us. If you want to do meaningful work early in your career and grow fast, this is the role.

What You'll Do

This is an outbound-focused role at a company where the GTM motion is still being defined — you'll prospect and help build the system at the same time. Expect the scope to expand as we grow.

  • Own top-of-funnel pipeline through outbound email, cold calls, and LinkedIn outreach to law firm decision-makers.

  • Build Finch's SDR playbook from scratch — testing messaging, tracking performance, and iterating quickly.

  • Convert early interest into booked meetings for our Account Executive team.

  • Maintain clean, accurate pipeline data in our CRM so the team can move fast with confidence.

  • Represent Finch at legal tech conferences and industry events.

Who We Have in Mind

This role rewards people who are comfortable creating structure where none exists and who see early-stage as an opportunity, not a liability.

Must-Haves
  • Some experience in a client-facing outbound sales or BD role.

  • Demonstrated ability to test, iterate, and optimize outbound messaging and workflows.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Nice-to-Haves
  • Prior experience building or contributing to an SDR playbook.

  • Familiarity with the legal industry or experience selling into professional services.

  • Experience at a high-growth startup.

This Role Might Not Be For You If
  • You do your best work when the outbound playbook is already written and the process is fully defined.

  • You're looking for a role with a clear, linear path rather than one where you help create it.

Compensation

The expected package for this role includes base salary + commission + equity.

  • Base salary = $75,000 - $100,000

  • OTE = $90,000 - $120,000

Benefits
  • 100% coverage for health, dental, and vision.

  • 401(k) retirement plan.

  • In-office snacks, drinks, and daily team lunches and dinners.

  • Flexible PTO (we trust you to take the time you need).

Interview Process
  1. Intro: An initial call to see if there's a mutual fit.

  2. Interview: An interview that typically involves a case assignment of sorts.

  3. Onsite: A visit to our NYC office to interview, meet the team, and have lunch.

At Finch Legal, we believe in practicing what we advocate.

As a company dedicated to upholding justice and protecting people in the workplace, we are equally committed to fostering a safe, inclusive, and equitable environment within our own walls. We welcome and support individuals from all backgrounds and lived experiences — regardless of race, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, disability, or veteran status.

We recognize that diversity strengthens our team, enriches our perspectives, and empowers us to better serve our clients and communities. At Finch Legal, inclusion isn’t just a value — it’s a practice.
