TripleLift is looking to hire a Director, CTV Sales within our Revenue Acceleration Team. The Sales Director’s core responsibility is to drive adoption of TripleIift’s Innovative CTV product suite by identifying, qualifying and selling new and prospective agency clients on its value. This seller will be working individually and collaboratively alongside our Demand Sales Team to drive success.  The ideal candidate is an operator comfortable in a self propelled, dynamic environment, who intimately understands the nuances of the rapidly evolving CTV marketplace and is adept at uncovering client obstacles in the path of adoption.  

Additional key responsibilities include scaling CTV go-to-market strategies and partnering with internal supply & product marketing teams to build effective narratives. The best candidate brings agency relationships (HoldCo / Indie) with them and are comfortable presenting at both a tactical and strategic levels; all the while educating and influencing key decision makers throughout the agency. They will be well versed in selling CTV solutions to either programmatic, video investment or strategy teams. 

 Responsibilities:

  • Drive familiarity, adoption, and revenue for TripleLift’s CTV offerings
  • Lead sales and business development activities for a targeted list of HoldCo/ Indie agency accounts
  • Adept and driving new business and cultivating new agency relationships
  • Achieve growth within existing brand / client relationships 
  • Collect, aggregate, and disseminate customer feedback on Triplelift’s CTV offerings to product leaders inside the company to enhance and refine our offering to meet customer needs.
  • Collaborate with Research, Product Marketing & Engineering on in-market needs and future resources
  • Anticipate CTV and video offering needs for current and future clients
  • Utilize a solution-selling philosophy for uncovering key business requirements and pain points, to further sell through TL's solutions that meet the clients' needs.
  • Drive adoption and increase annual commitments with agency clients (HoldCo / Indie).
  • Represent TripleLift at industry-relevant events to increase TripleLift’s visibility and influence annual commitments
  • Coordinate with a selection of Publisher partners to educate and help drive sales of Triplelift Products by their internal sales teams
  • Agency sales / Publisher sales team focus is an 80/20 time / resource split
  • Develop and implement bespoke industry strategies within assigned agencies
  • Engage with Operations, Demand Partnerships, and Marketing teams regarding new product solutions and releases
  • Partner with HoldCo and the Marketing Team to create narratives that resonate withTripleLift's unique offerings tied to customer objectives and business outcomes
  • Meet/exceed quarterly and annual revenue goals according to sales plan
  • Superior analytical skills and a firm grasp of their customers’ needs
  • Maintain proper adherence to company standards for data entry/utilization through TripleLift’s CRM (Salesforce).

The Requirements:

  • 8+ years in CTV sales (Publisher), CTV ad tech sales (SSP)
  • Experience in selling CTV to agencies (Holdco or Indie), via programmatic, managed service or DIO
  • Deep relationships within the advertising industry, specifically CTV buyers & decision influencers - CIO > individual brand team leads
  • Familiarity with CTV measurement and data targeting
  • Understanding of the Upfront’s impact & dynamics 
  • Ability to translate between linear, CTV and Programmatic
  • Fluency with CTV technical workflows
  • Familiarity with 3rd party Publisher Sold Sales Motions 
  • Ability to work individually and collaboratively
  • Outstanding presentation skills
  • Excellent communication, both internally and externally
  • Proven executive presence and relationship-building skills
  • Must be willing to travel
US Jobs: The base salary range represents the low and high end of the TripleLift US salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to experience and performance. The range listed is just one component of TripleLift’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include bonuses, an open Paid Time Off policy, and many region-specific benefits.
Pay is based on various non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to experience, education, and skills.
