About Arketa

Arketa is building the operating system for modern fitness and wellness. Our mission is to make wellness more accessible by empowering studios and wellness entrepreneurs to grow beyond in-person classes. We provide a powerful, all-in-one platform to manage and scale hybrid wellness businesses, whether online, in-person, or both.

With Arketa, studios can manage schedules, accept bookings and payments, build on-demand video libraries, host retreats, run automated marketing, and launch fully branded apps and websites. We make it simple for founders to deliver a seamless, professional experience across every customer touchpoint. We've raised $15M in Series A funding and are growing quickly. It's a unique moment to join us. We're building a category-defining company in a fast-moving space, and we're looking for a leader who is excited to help shape what world-class partner support looks like in the wellness category.

About the role

As our Sales Enablement Manager, you own the success of our entire sales org through coaching, training, and process — and you are directly accountable for our new hires' first three months. This is a hands-on, in-the-arena role: you'll sit on demos with newer AEs and live cold-calling sessions (via Zoom/Nooks), coach in real time, and get reps to full ramp as fast as possible. You'll run our new-AE incubator: for a core/high-velocity AE's first ~2 months you own them directly, with the goal of getting them their first 3 sales before they graduate into a Sales Manager's team. You'll also own the onboarding and ramp program end-to-end, and turn

This is a manager-level enablement role. We are only considering candidates who have been a trainer, in L&D, or in a dedicated sales enablement role before — plus real sales experience of their own.

You will report into our CEO/Co-founder.

This role is hybrid 3x a week to our NYC office in NoHo.

About the Team

This team is high-velocity and high-volume, growing quickly and experimenting often. Each member of the sales team is highly passionate about our Partners, the wellness space and studios they enable.

What You'll Do:
  • Own the onboarding and ramp program for AEs end-to-end

  • Run the new-AE incubator for core/high-velocity AEs: own them for their first ~2 months and graduate them at their first 3 sales into a Sales Manager's team

  • Onboard and train Mid-Market and Enterprise AEs like new hires on a longer, segment-appropriate ramp (no incubator)

  • Be directly responsible for new hires' early tenure — get them producing as fast as possible

  • Sit on demos with newer AEs and coach them live and after the call

  • Train all new AE sales hires across the full sales motion

  • Coach the broader sales org — call reviews, role-plays, skills development

  • Build and maintain playbooks, battlecards, demo scripts and objection handling

  • Own sales process and enablement content, keeping it current as plays evolve

  • Stand up a call-review/coaching library (Avoma) and a certification process

  • Partner with managers to identify skill gaps and build targeted training

  • Use AI (Claude) to build coaching materials, analyses and enablement at scale

  • Measure enablement impact on ramp time and new-hire performance

What success looks like:
  • 30 days — audit current onboarding, tooling and content; map gaps; get in the arena on demos and calls

  • 60 days — ship a revamped onboarding/ramp path and first playbook + certification; actively coaching new hires live

  • 90 days — running a repeatable ramp cadence with measurable impact; new hires ramping faster and hitting early goals

What we're looking for:
  • Prior experience as a trainer, in L&D, or in a dedicated sales enablement role — this is a hard requirement, not a nice-to-have

  • Real sales experience — enough to sit on live demos and cold calls and coach credibly

  • Strong coaching skills — developing reps live and turning feedback into performance

  • Proven success onboarding and ramping new sales reps quickly

  • Strong instructional and content-building skills

  • Experience with HubSpot, Avoma, Nooks (or similar) and modern enablement tooling

  • Hands-on AI (Claude) to build materials fast

  • Highly organized, cross-functional, and comfortable in ambiguity

  • Passion for developing sellers and for fitness/wellness

You Should Apply If
  • You want to own help build and shape a sales enablement function

  • You can work with ease in the space and ambiguity of a Series A tech company with strong PMF

  • You're mission-driven and excited about wellness becoming more accessible

You May Not Want to Apply If
  • AI is only something you use to draft emails

  • You haven't sat in a sales role prior

  • You are looking for clearly structured guidelines and process

  • You want a slower pace or a more established later-stage environment

What We Offer:

  • Ownership and Opportunity for Advancement

  • Competitive Salary and Stock Options

  • Unlimited PTO: our policy is designed to give you the flexibility to rest, recharge, and take care of personal needs — while staying aligned with your team and responsibilities.

  • Medical, dental and vision health insurance

  • Fitness Class Reimbursement: we’re committed to supporting both employee wellness and our industry relationships. As an Arketa employee we see movement as opportunity.

  • Parental Leave Policy

For this role, the estimated annual base salary is up to $100,000- $120,000, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition to base pay, we offer equity. We believe in compensating fairly and transparently, and we’re happy to provide more detail during the interview process.
