In this role, you'll serve as a key liaison between outside sales, national accounts, government teams, distribution partners, and Deerfield-based business partners.

Working closely with sales and cross-functional partners, you will provide pre- and post-sale support, coordinate customer and distributor activities, maintain accurate sales data and reporting, and help ensure opportunities, orders, and customer needs move efficiently through the organization. You'll also support national account and government sales activities, including bids, reporting, compliance, and ongoing account initiatives.

We're looking for a collaborative and highly organized professional who enjoys supporting sales teams and creating a great customer experience. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities, with strong communication skills, a customer-focused mindset, and a desire to continuously improve how work gets done.

What you will be doing:

  • Partner proactively with outside account managers and internal teams to provide pre- and post-sale support, including product recommendations, quote creation, issue resolution, customer follow-up, and resolution of open action items.
  • Serve as an initial qualification point for inbound leads, ensuring opportunities are captured accurately in CRM and routed to the appropriate sales resources with complete, actionable information.
  • Prepare sales content, dashboards, scorecards, and reporting to support business reviews, share growth, competitive gains, expanded product offerings, and other sales initiatives.
  • Monitor open orders and partner cross-functionally to address late orders, splits, AP/AR issues, customer escalations, and other needs impacting the customer experience.
  • Support distribution partners through quarterly promotional planning, marketing execution, sales reporting, and dealer outreach, including coordination of samples, literature, and merchandising materials.
  • Support national account activities, including bid and quote preparation, tradeshow lead processing and follow-up, COOP claims, item setup, scorecards, and National Sales Meeting preparation.
  • Manage government sales support activities, including DLA quotes and bids, bid-loss tracking, contract modifications, subcontracting plans, and other required documentation.
  • Maintain government reporting and compliance requirements, including GSA reporting, IFF payments, eSRS and SAM.gov requirements, and support GSA renewals in coordination with external partners.
  • Monitor government bid opportunities, including InstaQuote, and support relationship development with WOSB and SDVOSB accounts.
  • Maintain accurate sales and product data across CRM systems, dashboards, product files, item setup, retired products, forecasts, leads, and other reporting tools.
  • Facilitate webinars and virtual training sessions for key customers and end users to support product knowledge and sales effectiveness.
  • Identify opportunities to improve sales processes, reporting, and workflows while providing additional support across bids, lead processing, tradeshow follow-up, and other evolving business needs.
  • Occasional travel is required to support trade shows, vendor events, and field visits alongside sales team members and customers.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in sales support, sales operations, account management support, customer service, or a related commercial function.
  • Experience supporting sales teams and customers with activities such as quoting, order management, lead management, issue resolution, or sales reporting.
  • Experience using CRM systems to maintain customer, lead, opportunity, and sales activity data.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365, including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Experience managing multiple priorities, deadlines, and customer or sales requests in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience working across customers, sales teams, and cross-functional business partners.
