The Role

As a Sales Manager at adMarketplace, you'll drive net-new revenue by developing and closing strategic partnerships with Fortune 500 advertisers. This is a senior individual contributor role for an experienced enterprise seller who can open doors, influence senior decision-makers, and navigate complex organizations to secure significant performance media partnerships.

You'll own the full sales cycle from prospecting through close, combining deep client and market knowledge with a consultative, data-driven approach to establish adMarketplace as a trusted performance partner. This role offers an uncapped commission plan, providing meaningful earning potential tied directly to your sales performance.

What You’ll Do
  • Prospect, develop, and close strategic net-new business with Fortune 500 advertisers.

  • Engage and influence senior performance marketing and digital media stakeholders, including executive-level decision-makers.

  • Build, maintain, and accurately track a large prospect pipeline to deliver against quarterly and annual sales targets.

  • Conduct extensive client and market research to develop custom messaging and pitch effectively against the competition.

  • Navigate complex advertiser organizations to establish relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers at multiple levels.

  • Understand advertiser business objectives, KPIs, and measurement strategies to develop tailored, data-driven solutions.

  • Lead complex sales cycles, including discovery, objection handling, negotiation, and close.

  • Build compelling business cases that position adMarketplace as a strategic performance media partner.

  • Partner cross-functionally to develop solutions and support successful advertiser launches.

  • Represent adMarketplace and foster new relationships at premier industry events.

Qualifications
  • 5–7+ years as a strong performer in enterprise, digital media, AdTech, or performance media sales.

  • Proven track record of exceeding revenue targets and securing significant net-new partnerships with enterprise advertisers.

  • Experience solution selling to senior stakeholders across performance marketing, digital media, analytics, and related disciplines.

  • Strong sales, presentation, and communication skills, with demonstrated success in discovery, objection handling, negotiation, and closing.

  • Proven ability to navigate complex organizations and build relationships with decision-makers at multiple levels.

  • Strong professional network and ability to leverage relationships to create new business opportunities.

  • Strong understanding of performance marketing, advertiser KPIs, and measurement.

  • Consultative, analytical, and data-driven problem solver who can comfortably navigate complex customer conversations.

  • Strong pipeline management and forecasting discipline with the ability to manage a sizable prospect portfolio.

*Compensation: $120,000 - $140,000 + Commission & Equity

*This range represents the low and high end of the base salary someone in this role may earn as an employee of adMarketplace in the New York office. Salaries will vary based on various factors including but not limited to professional and academic experience; training; associated responsibilities; and other business and organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of our total compensation package for employees. Salary decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each hire.
