We are looking for the Sales & Marketing Director, North America to lead the marketing & sales teams in the development and execution of disruptive growth initiatives.

This executive role leads the Noble Panacea business across North America, with a weighted focus towards the USA. The role leads the NAM sales and marketing teams, refines the long-term customer-centric strategy, accelerates growth from existing retail doors and online platforms, identifies and opens new store locations. The core of this role is to increase the awareness of Noble Panacea and, with an end-to-end view of the customer experience, to be the steward of the Noble Panacea retail experience and brand presence in North America. It is important to foster a seamless connection between online and offline channels to drive traffic and sell-out growth across all platforms. The role carries full P&L responsibility for NAM, including setting and achieving KPIs, and applies a data-driven approach throughout.

Duties and Responsibilities Include:

SALES


Sell-Out and Commercial Strategy

o   Manage the team of Sales & Education Managers in North America and guide them to perform, recruit and train the right Beauty Advisors as well as tracking their performance rigorously. Regular store visits are an important part of the role.

o   Build and execute clear NAM-wide, national, regional, and door-level sales strategies to drive growth and meet/exceed forecasts.

o   Own the NAM P&L including annual sales and cost forecasts, marketing and trade marketing spend, travel and headcount.

o   Data-driven approach to retail strategy setting, tracking and ensuring delivery of KPIs at regional, store and individual employee levels.

o   Translate customer insights into action plans that improve the retail experience and increase loyalty.

Retail Operations and Trade Marketing

o   Oversee store and counter operations, ensuring excellence in execution.

o   Implement an ‘always-on’ strategy for trade marketing and store activations.

o   Ensure digital and in-store activations are coordinated.

o   Explore the full potential of online doors, including leveraging retailers’ social media platforms.

Retailer Relationship Management

o   Develop and manage relationships with key retail partners.

o   Negotiate improved margin and payment terms; secure and upgrade counter locations.

o   Manage retailer stock and replenishment cycles to maintain stock health and turn.

Consumer and Clienteling Focus

o   Deep understanding of the North American luxury consumer: preferences, motivations, and service expectations.

o   Implement in-store CRM and clienteling systems to drive acquisition, retention, and repeat purchases.

o   Leverage retailer and Mall CRM systems to drive footfall and growth.

o   Integrate clienteling with the digital and CRM program to deliver a single view of the customer across online and offline.

Business Development and Distributor Market

o   Develop a robust strategy for NAM offline retail expansion, prioritizing the US.

o   Succeed in landing new location listing as per strategic expansion footprint

o   Negotiate lowest feasible retailer margins with most advantageous terms.

o   Identify potential new distributor partners in the region, approach, negotiate and onboard the best partners.

Marketing, Digital and eCommerce

o   Lead Marketing and Digital initiatives to propulse the brand awareness in North America

o   Manage the Marketing Manager NA to execute the strategy.

o   Own the strategy, execution and budget for NAM marketing, digital and eCommerce, including the marketing and digital teams and third-party partners.

o   Develop a 360-marketing strategy and market-level calendar, localizing global brand initiatives for North American consumers without diluting brand identity.

o   Ensure a disruptive but consistent omnipresence of the brand online in NA

o   Lead the PR and social media strategy in key NAM markets, including management of PR agencies and the brand’s strategic marketing partnerships.

o   Drive eCommerce growth across retailer platforms, ensuring a seamless customer journey across online, offline and social touchpoints.

o   Own the NAM customer strategy: segmentation, targeting, CRM effectiveness, acquisition, retention and loyalty, supported by a digital brand footprint roadmap and go-to-market plan.

Cross-Functional Leadership

o   Work closely with global and local digital, marketing, merchandising, training, and operations teams.

o   Localize global strategies in partnership with global leadership teams.

Team Development and Talent Management

o   Lead the regional team with cultural sensitivity and motivation.

o   Coach, mentor, and manage performance of sales managers, store managers, beauty advisors, and the marketing and digital team.

o   Recruit new talent as needed in partnership with global HR.


Requirements

Strategic Sales Expertise:

o   Ten or more years of experience in skincare or beauty marketing in NAM.

o   Deep understanding of market trends, cultural nuances, and consumer behavior across different markets, with a primary focus on the US.

o   Ability to manage budgets, forecast sales, and optimize marketing spend.

o   Proven success in senior sales roles in luxury or premium skincare or beauty.

Marketing, Digital and eCommerce Capability:

o   Proven experience developing and executing regional marketing strategies across NAM for a prestige beauty consumer product.

o   Expertise in eCommerce tools, analytics and platforms relevant for the NAM market.

o   Command of social media marketing, influencer partnerships, SEO, SEM and performance marketing.

o   Highly experienced in building omnichannel strategies to integrate online and offline sales efforts.

Leadership and Communication:

o   Strong leadership skills to guide cross-regional teams, fostering collaboration and innovation.

o   Strong relationships across NAM retail, digital and marketing ecosystems, with an existing network of contacts and strategic partners at retailers, malls, agencies, publications and distributors.


Data-Driven Decision Making:

o   Proven track record of using data analytics to inform strategy, track key metrics, and optimize campaigns.

o   Strong analytical skills and a data-driven, execution-focused approach with experience in retail P&L, sell-through strategy development, and premium retailer partnerships.


Education

o   A degree from a top-tier university, MBA preferred.

o   International exposure and global mindset essential.
