TL;DR: We're hiring a Contract Sales Recruiter to own full-cycle recruiting for Account Executives at Listen Labs. You'll source, manage agency partners, run process, and close. Remote-friendly.

Background

Listen Labs is an AI-powered research platform that helps teams uncover insights from customer interviews in hours — not months. We help customers analyze conversations, surface themes, and make faster, smarter product decisions.

Company highlights — entirely product-led:

  • World-Class Team: Founded by serial entrepreneurs (previous AI exit), former co-founders, and talent from Jane Street, Twitter, Stripe, Affirm, Bain, Goldman Sachs, and many more Sequoia-backed startups (plus IOI/ICPC backgrounds).

  • Hypergrowth: We’re a 30-person team backed by Sequoia, growing from $0 to a $12M run-rate in under a year. We move fast, care deeply about craft, and love working with people who take ownership.

  • Traction: Rapid growth across segments with enterprise wins at Google, Microsoft, Nestlé, and P&G.

  • Performance: Industry-leading win rate driven by a highly differentiated product.

  • Market Validation: Consistently winning customers across all segments with over six-figure lands that lead to quick expansions.

  • Viral Product: Interviews are shared with tens of thousands of viewers, fueling PLG, organic expansion, and daily inbound from Fortune 500s.

What You’ll Do

  • Own full-cycle recruiting for AE roles — sourcing, outreach, screens, offer, close.

  • Source candidates directly and manage a funnel of external agency partners in parallel.

  • Vet, onboard, and manage agency relationships: scorecards, feedback turnaround, fee negotiation, cutting underperformers.

  • Build and refine the AE interview loop, scorecards, and candidate collateral.

  • Partner with sales leadership on comp strategy and close negotiations.

  • Keep Ashby data clean — pipeline health, pass-through rates, source mix (direct vs. agency).

Who You Are

  • 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting, with meaningful time spent specifically on Sales/AE hiring.

  • Direct experience running and managing agency funnels — not just receiving submittals, but triaging, coaching, and holding agencies to a bar.

  • Comfortable in a startup or high-growth environment with minimal structure.

  • Proven closer — can speak to specific AE reqs you've filled and time-to-fill.

  • Strong outbound/sourcing chops; you don't rely on inbound or agencies alone.

  • Analytical — you think in funnel conversion, not just headcount.

  • Remote OK; some overlap with SF hours expected for standups/interviews.
