Do you enjoy understanding what makes brands work? Can you build new brands and bring them to life through meaningful products and experiences? Do you geek out on using ethnographic research to understand customers and employees? Do you love figuring out how brands fit into our increasingly complex and interconnected world? Are you constantly explaining to people that a brand is much more than a logo and a tagline? If so, we would love to meet you. EPAM Continuum is seeking an energetic, talented Brand Strategist to join our team.

Brand Strategists work on a wide range of projects. While exposed to the entire creative process, they shine at bringing our client’s stories to life in ways that connect with their customers and employees. They are comfortable working directly with a variety of clients and with Design and Technology practitioners across the wider EPAM Continuum team.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Apply a rich brand strategist toolset that includes the ability to define a brand’s mission, brand architecture, positioning strategies, personas, customer journeys, and product line architectures to meet a variety of client needs
  • Think systematically about holistic brand experiences, considering customer needs, employee needs, and business and market context
  • Clearly communicate strategic vision and design decisions and tell concise stories in the brand voice of our clients
  • Develop compelling strategies and translate those strategies to real-world products and services (we hate work that ends in a PowerPoint deck)
  • Lead programs focused on using ethnographic research to understand user/consumer needs and then translate those into compelling multi-channel brand experiences
  • Work directly with clients, including senior leadership, at many top US and international brands
  • Collaborate closely with team members and experts in different domains such as design strategists, engineers, video artists, architects, human factors experts, interaction designers and brand designers

WHAT YOU HAVE

  • 5 - 7 years of consulting experience in design/brand/communication field
  • Undergraduate degree or master’s degree in business or design related field
  • Ability to lead client interactions, work-sessions, and meetings
  • Excellent presentation, communication, writing, organization and client skills
  • Strong copywriting skills with the ability to craft and then apply compelling brand tone
  • Experience with consumer/user research and analysis, ideation and brainstorming techniques, prototyping, and concept validation
  • Able to manage and prioritize multiple projects and responsibilities
  • Open to new ideas, receptive to input, and grounded in reality
  • Available to travel (once the world returns to ‘normal’)
  • Ability to craft beautiful presentations and documentation that bring your work to life for stakeholders
  • Strong portfolio or case studies demonstrating past work
