The SpareRoom opportunity:

You’ll be on the front lines generating revenue by finding real estate professionals to bring onto the SpareRoom platform. You’ll be tailoring pitches to a combination of real estate brokerages and co-living businesses down the East Coast. Some of these businesses will already use SpareRoom in some capacity, some will have used SpareRoom at some point. You’ll be introducing our agency proposition, signing businesses up for free trials and converting them into paying customers down the line.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Navigating the complex real estate markets in key East Coast cities (NYC, PHI, DC, MIA)
  • Getting on the phone with prospective businesses to understand their needs
  • Pitching SpareRoom’s agency service to in-market businesses in person or via video
  • Handling the sales relationship with new and existing businesses
  • Assist with the development and tailoring of new pricing/product structures for new businesses/verticals

About You:

  • 0 - 2+ years of experience (with pay and title in-line with experience)
  • Track record of success in sales
  • Ability to think emphatically and critically with a keen interest in understanding business challenges
  • High degree of integrity and work ethic
  • You have positive vibes and you’re a people person
  • You might have some real estate experience
  • You might have been a real estate salesperson (or might do this in your spare time)
  • You have connections in the real estate market, or you’re excited to develop this network
  • Desire to crush it
