As the Director of Sales and Client Success (Skillshare for Teams), you'll be the driving force behind our enterprise business and will be charged with helping us tap into the enormous opportunity b2b/enterprise sales represents for our business. This includes managing and growing both our sales and client success teams, as well as championing the enterprise business internally and setting the strategy for how we’ll chart a path to grow a $50M+ enterprise business.

The ideal candidate is a strong sales leader with at least some experience managing or working cross-functionally with client success or account management functions. More than that though, we’re looking for someone who is wildly ambitious, has the leadership and operational chops to achieve their ambitions, and wants to take on the challenge of growing a business from the ground up.

What you'll do:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of our Skillshare for Teams business, including both sales and client success
  • Exceed quarterly sales and retention targets
  • Refine sales processes, including prospecting, inbound handling, demoing and sales operations strategies in order to drive increased sales effectiveness
  • Work with client success manager to build out account management practices that drive engagement, retention and upsell
  • Manage current team of 3 (2 sales, 1 client success), including coaching, mentoring and performance management
  • Build out the team as business performance dictates
  • Work with marketing function to create lead gen, lead nurturing and sales enablement programs
  • Help create the long term Skillshare for Teams strategy
  • Measure and report on performance of business as a whole
