Overview
Ideal candidate will have relevant internship, school, and job experience as well as excellent PowerPoint and Excel skills, a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and an eagerness to learn. Candidates should be detail-oriented and independent workers who are eager to grow their career!
Responsibilities
- Develop sales and marketing materials including proposals, sales plans and agreements for The Daily Meal and The Active Times
- Communicate with clients and agencies for RFPs and post-sale needs
- Support marketing team on pre-sale needs, including writing copy, working with designer on custom mocks, updating existing decks, etc
- Process all digital sales plans and client needs
- Research advertising/event sponsorship opportunities
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of media/publishing experience preferred
- Excellent organizational, oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment with frequent deadlines
- Ability to manage competing priorities and to prioritize tasks in a timely manner
- Strong interpersonal skills, ability to handle multiple projects at once
- High attention to detail; accuracy is key
Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
