Urbint is looking for a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to identify and create new qualified sales opportunities in Target Accounts for their regional Account Executives. The SDR will become a trusted resource and develop relationships with prospects, acting as the initial point of contact. 

You are:

  • A self-starter with a desire to build a career in Enterprise SaaS software sales
  • Excited about working and learning new things in a fast-paced and changing environment

What you’ll do:

  • Qualify leads associated with marketing campaigns
  • Contact potential clients through cold calls and emails
  • Present our company and value proposition to potential clients
  • Identify client needs and suggest appropriate products/services
  • Customize product solutions to increase customer satisfaction
  • Build long-term trusting relationships with clients
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities in new and existing markets
  • Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) clients and Account Executives
  • Report to the SVP of Sales (weekly/monthly/quarterly) sales results
  • Stay up-to-date with new products/services and new pricing/payment plans

You have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as marketing, business, communications
  • 2-3 years of sales development or inside sales experience, preferably in B2B enterprise SaaS software serving electrical utilities, telecom, gas delivery, oil & gas midstream 
  • Solid verbal, written, and presentation skills
  • Experience building and growing internal and external relationships
  • Excellent project management and time management skills
  • Proficiency in Google Docs, MS Office, SalesForce, online business support application
  • Proven work experience as a Business Development Representative, Sales Account Executive or similar role
  • Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (including cold calls)
  • Track record of achieving sales quotas
  • Familiarity with MS Excel (analyzing spreadsheets and charts)
  • Understanding of sales performance metrics
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to deliver engaging presentations
