Role Description
As the Director of Sales, you’ll be responsible for consulting with C-Level executives, at prospects and internal at FADEL. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing SaaS company and help shape and scale the sales organization. We’re looking for sharp, energetic and detail-oriented people who are passionate about implementing solutions that transform the status quo. This individual will be in a key client-facing role and take ownership of new license subscription revenue generation for the entire company: building managing and developing a high-performance SaaS sales team; creating a methodical, data driven sales process; filling and driving the sales pipeline; and closing enterprise-level deals across all industry verticals. This position reports to the company CEO.
Drive sales, aggressively expand the customer base and generate net new license revenue
Build and maintain strong relationships with senior executives at Enterprise size businesses
Sells the SaaS-based Rights Cloud, Content Eye and IPM products by identifying and qualifying leads and opportunities, developing relationships with prospects, proposing solutions and achieving annual sales quota
Identifies business opportunities by qualifying prospects and evaluating their position in the industry, their needs and researching and analyzing sales options
Owns the sales process from qualification to deal closure
Effectively uses, contributes to and oversees the maintenance of clean and accurate data in Salesforce.com as well as other sales tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator
Works with marketing to coordinate sales activities with marketing campaigns and events and vice versa
Identifies product improvements or new products by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors
Lead in-person client presentations to C-level executives, including information discovery sessions, product demonstrations and proposals
Engage with prospects to understand their unique and specific pain points and produce compelling business cases to meet their needs
Contact potential prospects from personally-generated research to build a robust sales pipeline
Develop and implement a scalable sales process from prospecting/demand generation through contract execution
Hire, train and lead a team of high-performing SDR’s and Account Executives as the company grows
Work with internal team members to ensure successful on-boarding and implementation for new clients
Leverage CRM data to construct, forecast, and manage sales activity and drive pipeline to meet revenue targets and company goals
Work closely with the Leadership Team to provide input on the growth of the business and align revenue strategy with overall company objectives
Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and conferences; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks
10+ years direct sales experience in an outbound sales environment consistently over achieving quota
Experience selling SaaS solutions with $200k+ deal sizes to Director, VP, and C-level executives
Passion for customer success with the ability to communicate passionately and effectively in person and over the phone. B2B Solution selling experience
Experience selling to large scale marketing departments and/or experience in the Content Technology and Digital Asset Management space, a strong plus
Self-motivated and responsible individual who will represent the company with the highest level of integrity and professionalism
Experience managing and selling at the same time
Proven track record of lead generation, opportunity progression, closing deals and attaining or exceeding sales quotas
Must be a hunter, the ability to open new accounts and develop new relationships is required
Outstanding relationship and management skills
Extensive experience in using Salesforce CRM
Bachelor's degree in business or a related field required
