As a sales-engineer at Urbint, you will be a member of the Pre-Sales team, within Deployment Strategy, who possesses a strong blend of analytical and customer-facing skills. You will be responsible for the creation of technical analysis and other related materials to help drive deals. You will present your work alongside the Sales team in front of the customer. Through customer conversations and market/regulatory research, you will keep an eye on how our products can best serve the Utility industry. This will require working with various teams across Urbint in order to help drive our mission of making communities more resilient.

What you will do

  • Partner with sales reps to identify customer needs and determine product fit
  • Create technical analysis tailored to explain how our solutions will solve the customer’s problem
  • Provide product, service, or equipment technical and engineering information by answering questions and requests throughout the pre-sales process
  • Gain customer acceptance by demonstrating cost reductions and operations improvements
  • Present analysis and other related materials to customer leadership
  • Explore and research customer issues and demonstrate how to use Urbint solutions 

What we are looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Strong communication and customer relationship skills
  • Create technical sales materials for multiple clients
  • Ability to think critically about customer value proposition and convert into compelling analysis
  • Experience using tools such as Tableau or similar software
  • GIS experience is a plus but not mandatory
  • Interest in energy transition, urban planning, utility industry issues and to become an expert in Urbint’s products.
  • Understanding of enterprise cloud based software
  • Experience in data science, BI, and/or GIS is preferred
  • Ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders to deliver solutions
  • +2 years experience in sales, sales engineering, business development, implementation consultancy or customer success
