SeatGeek is poised to grow at a massive pace as live event attendance returns across the globe. We're looking for someone to help us harness that momentum and accelerate from a growth-stage company to an industry leading household name.
The Sales Executive is a key voice in SeatGeek's Major US Sports expansion efforts. The role will act as a key relationship builder at the executive, revenue leadership, and ticketing levels of Big 5 sports organizations and other targeted sports and entertainment properties. The Sales Executive will act as a storyteller and focus on discovery and solutions of key prospect club initiatives. The executive will orchestrate and lead the sales process, working with key internal stakeholders to activate and engage them throughout the engagement.
What you'll do
- Make independent visits to prospective named accounts to relationship build and conduct discovery
- Expectation of travel 1-3 days per week, 70%-85% of the calendar year
- Successfully articulate business advantages of SeatGeek Enterprise to our clients during formal and informal presentations
- Day to day focus of performing appointment setting and discovery calls with prospects
- Independently prospect new business opportunities outside of Big 5 pro sports
- Develop/update materials for prospect visits
- Host and entertain prospects around current client event days
- Negotiate late stage deal points
What you have
- 7+ years of relevant work experience in either ticket operations, business intelligence, or ticket sales.. Preferably at a Big 5 club, league, or ticketing company
- Deep, sophisticated understanding of the ticketing and team operations
- Ability to work in a highly collaborative and cross-functional environment
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with quick deadlines
- Ability to identify solutions/new opportunities for prospects via discovery
