Position Summary:
Moda Operandi seeks a Sales Manager to join our team. Reporting to the Sales Director, East Coast the Sales Manager will be responsible for managing a New York-based Stylist team to drive sales and increase customer conversion and retention by providing a consistently superior level of service as well as introducing new customers to M’O and creating loyalty.
What You'll Do:
- Optimize the customer experience through personalized, premium service personally and via Stylist team
- Drive tangible revenue through team sales and intangible revenue through customer retention and satisfaction
- Motivate and inspire the sales team
- Achieve sales objectives & KPI goals by forecasting and supporting curated strategies per Stylist
- Maintain direct lines of communication with NYC teams and provide consistent feedback on performance and opportunities
- Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of industry leaders and competition
- Recognize and avert probability of lapsed customers via outstanding service and communication
- Cultivate working relationships with other departments to promote dialogue and exchange information
- Partner with Ops team members to help drive client experience and navigate client service challenges
- Collaborate with Business Development and Client Development to manage and execute customer sales events to increase loyalty, acquire new customers and drive sales results.
- Collaborate with Sales Director, East Coast to devise and implement effective customer outreach methods to engage potential customers and reconnect with lapsed customers
- Execute Loyalty Program strategies with our most loyal and valuable clientele
- Create opportunities to surprise & delight clients; execute the highest level of bespoke luxury service in the industry and drive Stylist team to execute the same
- Demonstrate a can-do attitude in every situation to constantly raise the level of service provided and consistently exceed customer expectations
- Collaborate with Stylists to ensure that every team member adopts a customer-centric approach
Who You Are:
- Bachelor’s degree and experience with RTW (5+ yrs plus)
- Demonstrated appreciation and understanding of the importance of customer care as a function of the business
- Strong motivation and capacity to lead by example, inspiring productivity and delivering results
- Proven track record of constantly raising the bar, elevating service levels and driving sales
- Keen understanding of ultra high net worth client attributes, needs and expectations
- Superior market, product and brand awareness, and exceptional ability to match this knowledge to customers’ needs
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent personal presentation
- Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to build and maintain relationships in all scopes of business
- Autonomous self-starter and confident decision-maker, able to work independently and as part of a team
