Captivate has an excellent opportunity for a mid-level strategic professional looking to grow their skills, expand responsibility, and pursue an exciting and rewarding career in sales operations and analytics. The Sales Operations Analyst is a key role with measurable impact on the sales performance of both our American and Canadian Ad Sales & Real Estate Sales teams. Responsibilities include owning and assisting on strategy focused projects, overseeing data visualization design and reporting, and outlining effective sales strategies that affect the whole team. This person will work out of our NYC headquarters and will report directly to the Sales Operations & Strategy Manager.

What You’ll Do:

  • Prepare and distribute weekly reports on Ad Sales & Real Estate Sales team attainment
  • Oversee & manage data visualization dashboards (Looker) for revenue generating departments (Ad Sales, Real Estate Sales, Lead Generation, Operations, etc.)
  • Develop and automate reports in Excel, cleansing the data from multiple sources 
  • Identify and optimize processes for sales, strategy, and planning departments
  • Be a subject matter expert on the Sales CRM (Netsuite & boostr), and assist in back-end improvements
  • Conduct research, pilot features for the Sales CRM (Netsuite & boostr), document/prepare recommendations for review and act as the training lead for day to day support
  • Research effective sales strategies and seek to integrate them with the business atmosphere
  • Assist with budgeting and compensation plan creation for Sales
  • Dive into the strategic direction guiding the sales team to align executive vision with sales performance

Other responsibilities include:

  • Becoming proficient with Captivate’s sales systems and sales tools in managing companies, contacts, accounts, opportunities, contracts, etc. including:
    • Sales CRM System (NetSuite & boostr)
    • Third party tools i.e., CloudExtend, Looker, Google maps, Yardi, etc.
  • Understanding and participating in the following sales concepts, processes and procedures:
    • Products, pricing, and discount policies
    • Sales pipeline definitions
    • Contract procedures
  • Perform any additional duties as needed

What You Bring:

  • A relevant bachelor’s degree
  • 2+ years of experience in sales strategy or sales operations related work
  • A strong business acumen capable of understanding the variables impacting sales and revenue
  • Ability to organize, multi-task and prioritize activities effectively, while ensuring a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in a deadline driven environment
  • A go-getter attitude capable of working independently and proactively to address business needs
  • Excellent proficiency using Excel, Power BI, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Experience with CRM software (Salesforce, NetSuite, etc.)
  • Exposure working with data visualization platforms (Looker, Tableau, Domo, etc.)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
