Requirements
Summary
Reporting to the Vice President of Business Operations and the Head of Sales Operations, this person will be a player coach responsible for delivering cross-functional projects on behalf of the sales organization. The Sales Strategy & Operations Manager is extremely nimble as a wide range of focus areas may require attention given Rokt’s hyperscaling velocity.
This is a multi-faceted role that combines strong analytical, quantitative and systems skills with creativity and the ability to communicate complex information in clear, concise language to stakeholders. Examples may include implementing sales or commission forecasting changes, developing frameworks for evaluating seller productivity, interfacing with go-to-market leadership to collect and plan the execution of stakeholder requests or assisting in the implementation of a new system from an analytics perspective.
This is a highly visible position with exposure to the Chief Commercial Officer, Chief Financial Officer and other executives.
Outcomes & Responsibilities
- Sales Forecast: design and manage the processes to support accurate and timely sales forecasting.
- Reporting: design, create, and maintain a set of key performance indicator dashboards for sales leadership and front-line sales
- Analytics: work with sales leadership to come up with key questions and hypothesis and then leverage Rokt’s data to find the answers
- Consultation: as a subject matter expert on all things sales & revenue data at Rokt, consult with sales leaders on key trends and insights that are relevant to their business.
- Teammate: work cross functionally with groups like FP&A and Business Analytics to tackle large initiatives like forecasting and headcount planning
- Team Building: help grow the sales operations team by attracting and recruiting outstanding talent.
- Player Coach: mentor junior sales ops analysts on the team and help them grow professionally
Capabilities & Requirements
- 7+ years work experience with at least 3+ of sales/revenue operations experience, preferably within high-growth technology or SaaS environments
- Previous accountability for implementing a new sales forecasting process
- Proven track record of working with complex data sets and deriving insights; especially for sales/revenue organizations
- Ability to drive significant change initiatives across functions and geographies
- Ability to clearly define the ambiguous requirements of sales leaders and execute on business needs
- Capable of advising revenue leaders based on data-backed insights
- Experience with BI tools such as Tableau; proficiency in SQL. Additional experience with R, Python, Ruby, etc is a plus but not a requirement.
- Excellent quantitative and analytical skills

- Self-motivated and able to handle multiple competing priorities
- Adaptable for the quickly changing landscape of startup environment

Base salary - $150,000 - $165,000 / year
