We’re looking for an inquisitive, proactive, and analytical rockstar who loves a challenge! As Senior Sales & Marketing Analyst, you’ll be responsible for collecting and analyzing data in order to help drive intelligent, data-driven decisions to empower Andela’s growth. You’ll uncover the ways our Sales and Marketing teams can create amazing opportunities for Andela developers to work at great companies.

 

What you’ll do:

  • Keep track of performance across teams, staying on top of Key Performance Indicators so we know if we’re heading in the right direction.
  • Dive into data to surface trends and learnings: We use Salesforce, Google Analytics, Hubspot and other marketing tools such as AdWords.
  • Gather clues on cause and effect to guide where we should double-down or pivot. We’ve got a lot of metrics to piece together into a puzzle. You’ll tell us whether you think the new marketing push caused a spike in leads, or if it was word of mouth from a recent conference.
  • Communicate learnings to internal stakeholders. You’ll develop reports and visualization of the data to help your teammates know where progress is being made and where innovation is needed. You’ll also keep the leadership team informed, so that they can use your insights to make smart decisions that are based on facts.
  • Day to day things that could include creating dashboards and keeping our data clean.

 

What you bring to the role:

  • 2+ years of experience in a field that required you to make reports and analyze raw data. Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field preferred.
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills: You are an Excel whiz and pride yourself on precision and attention to detail. You’re already looking forward to identifying our data trends and recommending solutions.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills. You thrive among cross-functional teams
  • Independent, proactive work style with an open, curious approach. You are capable of balancing the big projects and the day to day stuff, rolling up your sleeves to get the job done.
  • Be nice. No jerks allowed. ;)
  • Extra points for Salesforce familiarity!
