Overview:

2020 Companies has a full-time remote Regional Sales Manager opportunity representing our client, Samsung Electronics America!

The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for meeting/exceeding district sales achievement rates and leading a team in a manner that builds team morale and accomplishes objectives. You will partner with the Program Manager to address issues daily, such as red-flag issues, representative fallout, and program issues, using solution-driven communication. This opportunity will give you the autonomy to cultivate positive customer relationships and educate the sales team and consumers about Samsung products’ features, functionality, and benefits. You will be accountable for realizing the full potential of the Samsung brand and improving customer experience in retail stores. 

Pay and Work Schedule:  

  • Pay: Annual salary $120K (salary commensurate with experience) 
  • Schedule: Monday through Friday (with flexible retail hours as required) 
  • Work Location: Assigned Region

Job Description:

  • Responsible for meeting and exceeding all sales and operational KPI
  • Gathers and communicates market intelligence and insights to corporate partners
  • Analyzes reports and identifies opportunities to increase revenue and market share within the assigned Region
  • Creates sales strategies to maximize Samsung’s market share within the assigned district
  • Partners with key internal and external stakeholders to develop sales programs designed to maximize the sell-through of Samsung products
  • Manages the execution of National Go-To-Market strategies
  • Holds the team accountable for ensuring that Samsung products are merchandised flawlessly within retail locations

Building the Best Teams & Inspiring Others

  • Recruits, hires, develops, and retains top Market Manager talent for the District
  • Trains, supervises, and provides guidance to each Market Manager and Field Sales Manager in the Region
  • Regularly conducts store visits to encourage, train, and motivate Market Managers, Field Sales Managers, and Samsung Experience Consultants
  • Oversee the hiring process of Field Sales Managers and Samsung Experience Consultants in partnership with the recruiting team
  • Partners with the Human Resources team on all performance management concerns related to the labor force
  • Monitors staffing levels within assigned Markets
  • Audits in-store sales rep schedules to ensure labor budget is spent according to budget and business needs
  • Develops effective succession plans that lead to internal promotions with minimal time to backfill
  • Conducts performance appraisals and recommends salary changes for direct reports
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred, with 6+ years of directly related experience
  • Prior experience in sales generation and marketing methodologies required
  • Demonstrated experience meeting and exceeding sales quotas
  • Prior experience managing a team required
  • Prior experience in the telecommunications industry is preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal skills are required
  • Must be able to write, read, analyze, interpret, present, and explain wireless terminals’ technical product and development materials
  • Must have experience with Microsoft Standard Office Suite and extensive use of presentation software

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred, with 6+ years of directly related experience
  • Prior experience in sales generation and marketing methodologies required

  • Prior experience in the telecommunications industry is preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal skills are required
  • Must be able to write, read, analyze, interpret, present, and explain wireless terminals’ technical product and development materials
