Job Description

As an Enterprise Account Executive – Acquiring, you will be responsible for driving significant revenue growth by cultivating and managing relationships with large, complex Enterprise accounts across the merchant acquiring ecosystem — including independent software vendors (ISVs), payment facilitators (PayFacs), merchants of record (MOR), and independent sales organizations (ISOs). You will manage all facets of the sales cycle, from initial strategic outreach through successful contract negotiation.

Some of the things you'll own and drive:

  • Own a customer account list spanning ISVs, PayFacs, and ISOs, and develop plans for winning and expanding business across the acquiring and merchant services landscape
  • Establish, maintain, and expand deep relationships with C-level executives and payments leaders at target ISV, PayFac, and ISO partners
  • Develop outbound strategies that create and nurture opportunities with software platforms and payment facilitators looking to embed or scale payment acceptance
  • Identify, qualify, develop, propose, and close opportunities across submerchant portfolios, PayFac models, and ISO-referred merchants
  • Build strong relationships that foster and expand trust with ISV, PayFac, and ISO partners throughout the merchant lifecycle — from underwriting and boarding to ongoing processing
  • Define and execute sales strategies that drive profitable growth within the acquiring and merchant services space while delivering meaningful customer value
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, product management, and product marketing to communicate requirements and opportunities for targeted ISV, PayFac, and ISO accounts

Who you are:

We encourage candidates of all backgrounds and experiences to apply, but we expect a successful candidate will have:

  • 10+ years of sales experience with a track record of top performance
  • 7+ years of experience selling payments or API products into ISVs, PayFacs, MORs, or ISOs within the merchant acquiring ecosystem
  • Working knowledge of merchant acquiring economics — submerchant underwriting, boarding, PayFac sponsorship models, and ISO referral structures
  • Ability to understand complex technical product requirements
  • Experience negotiating legal contracts
  • Strong presentation skills, particularly for in-person meetings with multiple stakeholders
  • An entrepreneurial and 'getting-things-done' mindset focused on delivering results
  • A strategic, collaborative, and inclusive approach
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Ownership mindset – caring about seeing projects through from start to finish
  • Lead by example, with empathy and humility
